Great food and service
16 September 2016
Amidst the bustle of the world-famous market, Wright Brothers Spitalfields serves a menu of fresh and largely British seafood dishes. With a long bar, large windows and exposed brick walls, the restaurant is laid-back and homely yet modern and vibrant.
Changing regularly to include the freshest produce, The Wright Brothers menu presents a blend of fresh oysters, small bar plates, fruits de mer and classic seafood dishes. Joining the market fish of the day are the signature fish pie, deep-fried haddock with mushy peas and triple-cooked chips, and for meat-lovers, chargrilled ribeye steak with béarnaise sauce. Amongst the more exotic options, try Skrei cod with spiced carrot mash and sweet and sour carrots, or fillet of seabass with broccoli, chilli and lemon sauce.
True to the East London tradition of pairing gin with oysters, a range of creative cocktails can be enjoyed on the heated outdoor terrace or the central marble bar.
Wright Brothers London overlooks the buzz of Spitalfields Market. Shoreditch High Street Rail Station is a 5-minute walk away whilst Liverpool Street Station is also close by.

If you love fish this is one of the best restaurants around, great oysters followed for me by Lemon Sole, my partner had Grilled Lobster. The service was exceptionally good , charming and prompt a very helpful wine waiter. A young vibrant feel to the place have eaten here and at its original Borough Market location and on balance I think the extra space at Spitalfields make it a little better.

Very friendly staff, we had a nice table. Food was excellent. We had oysters grilled seabass and fish and chips. The service was friendly, and responsive and the ambience and interior were (although pretty much mainstream with hanging filament lights etc) pleasant and delightful.
I was positively surprised about everything in this restaurant, given that it is in a mainstream commercial location

Delicious food and excellent service. The mushy peas that accompanied the fish and chips was very enjoyable and the fish was a very generous serving. Apple pie and ice cream was also very nice.

We came, as we sometimes do, to enjoy oysters with you. We did! Lovely Muscadet with them, good service...no pressure... a treat!
We have not visited your branch before - mostly using the Borough Market branch- but it was, of course, as good!
