Within a grand building in Theatreland, Wolfe’s Bar and Grill – Covent Garden is just 3 minutes’ walk from Holborn Tube Station. As well as chic, continental-style pavement dining, there is a relaxed and intimate ambience inside.

With fashionable, dark wood furnishings and print adorned walls, Wolfe’s Bar & Grill in culture-filled Covent Garden offers a stylish setting. The varied Wolfe’s menu forefronts juicy steaks and succulent, homemade Aberdeen Angus burgers, alongside dishes like smoked duck and avocado salad, or tasty vegetable moussaka.

An array of well sourced beers and wines mean there will be something to complement all flavours, and a range of exciting, refreshing cocktails can be enjoyed in the trendy bar area. To round things off, an adventurous dessert menu offers tantalising treats, like hazelnut and honey parfait, or hot black cherry waffles.

In the heart of the city, Wolfe’s Bar & Grill London offers a vibrant North American dining experience, just 5 minutes’ walk from the Royal Opera House.

The restaurant has a lovely welcoming atmosphere and our booked table was ready for us. The staff were excellent and very attentive to our needs. The set 2 course menu was very varied and good value. I particularly recommend the Lamb Shank - tender and delicious. Excellent location for a pre-theatre meal.

We were offered any of the tables in the window , my first impression was the place needs a damn good clean , the seats were covered in crumbs , mirror s were dirty , cutlery not polished and the waitresses uniform had loads of dirty marks on , it was only 1 o clock lunch time so I presume she had put it on dirty .
We ordered from the lunchtime special menu £25.50 for 2 courses and a glass of wine , the waitress offered us bread that was quite stale , the starters came in good time we had the lamb kebab and prawn cocktail both generous portions and quite nice 8 out of 10 . For mains we had the lamb kleftiko and sea bass , both were very good large portions and cooked to perfection , the wine was mediocre and not chilled enough .
All in all a good place to have a pre theatre meal at a reasonable price we would probably book again as its convenient for theatres 5-10 mins walk to most and the menu is made up of traditional dishes that we prefer .
I would however like to see it having a good Spring clean one day soon and for the staff to be smarter and cleaner .

Disappointing, we have eaten at Wolfes before and have always been very pleased with both service and the food. Tonight my wife and a friend ordered the calves liver and really it should have been sent back. Over cooked liver which we were not convinced was from a calf. I complained and they removed the cost from the bill, but it spoilt the evening.
