I had a really nice dinner here last night! The cheese and quince jelly was delicious, as was the seafood and mackarel pate. The main course was great as well- I just can't remember what it was called! I drained the bowl! I had been traveling all the way in to London to go to 'average' Tapas places. This restaurant is only down the road. The food was all cooked well, piping hot, and served stylishly-no frozen micro dishes here!

Hendon has a new dining highlight - Wine & Bread. Cute, quirky, fun and with seriously excellent service and authentic Portuguese food, it is a little hidden gem to watch out for. The feel of the place is super-cosy with a quirky and colourful design - and genuinely fun. Food is extra generous and well priced, super tasty and well ressourced. Desserts are to die for.... Wine list is superb yet affordable. The service is the highlight - the owners Marcia and Kadir make you feel welcome and looked after brilliantly from the minute you step in until the moment you leave, nothing is too much trouble... I went to Wine & Bread shortly after opening and now again after over 8 months, and they have come a VERY long way. Well done!!! Will return for sure.... well worth the visit! P.S.: Try the avocado mousse if it's available - one of the best desserts I've had in ages!!!! And finish off with the bitter almond liqueur (forgot the name).

I had dinner here and as soon as you enter Wine and Bread you feel as if you are in an authentic holiday destination eatery. The food was good and well priced. The service is provided by the owners which make the experience that more personal and cosy. The decor is quirky and rustic. Would go again, they have a great area for private parties too.

We came here for a meal with some university friends. The food is very tasty and freshly prepared and the service was good. Definately recommend.
