This trendy warehouse-style London restaurant specializes in fabulous free-range chicken. Advocates of strength in simplicity, Whyte & Brown’s philosophy is to make the most of selected produce from trusted suppliers.

The humble chicken is the ‘hero’ ingredient on the Whyte & Brown menu. Starters include a classic chicken & lentil broth; sriracha & honey glazed wings; pork & apple scotch egg; and veggie burrata with roasted delica pumpkin.

Main dishes include the ever-popular chicken souvlaki with sweet potato hummus, black olive tapenade, Greek-style salad, feta, tzatziki & pitta, the 5 spice-marinated roasted half chicken, and a roast chicken crispy burger with gravy mayo and crispy chicken skin served with sage and onion relish. Delicious desserts include a baked peanut butter cheesecake with crème fraiche, and sticky toffee pudding with butterscotch sauce and banana ice cream.

An extensive wine list, great craft beers, and classic cocktails can also be enjoyed in the quirky restaurant and bar interior, where giant exposed bulbs hang from industrial metal hooks over the bar and chunky wooden tables and white-washed factory pipes fill the dining space. There’s also a great alfresco dining available out in the courtyard all year round.

Just off Regent Street and London’s iconic Carnaby Street, Whyte & Brown is a 5-minute walk from Oxford Circus and Piccadilly Circus Tube stations.

the first time I went 2 years ago it was very good. this time it was horrendous. the food was very poor, the chicken was warm not hot, the green beans cold and they hadn't been topped or tailed God know if they had been washed. It was pretty disgusting and very disappointed especially when the meal came to £30!!! Horrendous I will not go back, will not recommend it.

Their take on the chicken Souvlaki was fantastic! A little more salad would have been nice perhaps, but a perfect amount otherwise.

Lovely menu, so many choices. My portion of Souvlaki was a teensy bit small but service was lovely and venue also super nice and fresh feeling.

I like eating here, but the food was not as good as normal.
We got the starters and main course at the same time.
The chicken felt over-cooked/microwaved, but the cocktails were nice.

Good service and tasty food. Used the 50% off promotion voucher for Jan/Feb, this made it good value otherwise it would have been £45 for 2 mains and 2 drinks including service.

The restaurant itself is quite nice. Located in Kingly Court it's a few minutes walk from Oxford Circus. The staff are lovely, our waitress was charm personified and was always on hand to look after us. The food however was absolutely terrible. For a restaurant that only serves chicken, it's a mean feat to manage to produce two disastrous plates which tasted of nothing more than disappointment. The half chicken and pulled chicken burger consisted of over seasoned, dry stringy chicken. A liberal dose of mayo failed to help it go down the hatch. The poor bird died in vain. Give this place a miss and head to ... oh ... pretty much anywhere else. 10/10 for service 0/10 for food.
