With floor-to-ceiling windows looking out on its idyllic riverside setting at Teddington Lock, The Wharf Teddington is a sleek, tranquil setting for modern British dishes, afternoon tea, or cocktails and live jazz.
A whole manner of British recipes feature on The Wharf Teddington menu, such as pot roast shank of lamb with savoy cabbage and root mash, London Pride battered cod and chips, as well as an enticing grill selection of premium steaks. There are Sunday roasts served, and the riverside setting makes this a popular spot for afternoon tea, with a range of homemade cakes on offer.
Desserts at The Wharf London are filled with classic flavours, including bitter chocolate tart with salted caramel ice cream, and apple and apricot crumble. The Wharf Teddington bar has a dramatic split level ceiling, and serves up cocktails, an extensive wine list, and even hosts live jazz evenings.
One of the best riverside dining destinations in London, The Wharf Teddington is a 13-minute walk from Teddington Rail Station.

Another great meal at The Wharf, thank you. We are always impressed by your attentive service, and tasty dishes. Even on a busy day like Mother's Day everything was as slick as usual.

Easy to find and park at least when we went.
Staff welcoming and attentive.
Menu extensive and varied. Particularly liked the spiced chicken breast and the side of cauliflower cheese was excellent.
Lamb rump was very special.
Nice atmosphere in the restaurant.
If there is any criticism it is in the lack of support for shorter folk on the soft row of seating. Perhaps additional cushions could be provided. However this does detract from a great dinner out.

Overall disappointing. One diner ate from the À La Carte. He enjoyed his sirloin steak and the seared scallops starter were 'delicious'. However dishes from the Weekly River Menu were disappointing. Two diners had the Bavette of Beef from this menu and both considered the meat to be 'tough'. We were comped two glasses of sparkling wine as a result of complaining. The Mushroom Ravioli was, to be frank, quite ordinary and not a patch on Zizzi's or Carluccio's ravioli. As the bill payer I thought the À La Carte dishes a tad expensive.

We arrived early had a very pleasant drink in the bar. Had a nice window table. Staters and main course were very good, The scallops and sea bass were excellent. After that everything went in to slow motion as the restaurant filled up. We waited half an hour to be offered dessert. We decided to skip the dessert and ordered coffees. Waited another half hour for them to be served and waited again to pay. Our waitress was very apologetic but was run off her feet due to a staff shortage. In the meantime there was a private party in the upstairs room with a disco which became too intrusive for us to stay for another drink. What started out on a high note ended less satisfactorily.

Very good experience: service and food excellent. Quiet, though it was a Tuesday night - ideal for a dinner for two. The Wharf has a nice feel and a lovely location overlooking the river. A favourite.

I've been before and it's a great location, nicely done inside. Service is superb and the food is guaranteed good. I use it for special occasions, as it can be relied upon to stand up. I always like to see a decent variety on a menu that isn't elsewhere. No foam, no de-constructed anything and not too much on the menu. Chef Patron knows what he's doing.

Good service, the sherry truffle was disappointing and the Campari and orange was made up wrong, it was remade but not with freshly squeezed oranges as in some other places

Banks of the Thames upstream at Teddington sets the scene for a lovely dinner, with the strains of a jazz pianist in the background.
The Sea bass was beautifully cooked on crushed Rosemary potatoes.
I came here when it first opened many years ago and it has morphed into a rewarding restaurant and I will return.
