Always welcoming, a great spot, lovely cocktails, consistently good and beautifully presented food and SO reasonably priced - but don't like the piano player, and depending on where you are sitting, it is too loud!!!

With floor-to-ceiling windows looking out on its idyllic riverside setting at Teddington Lock, The Wharf Teddington is a sleek, tranquil setting for modern British dishes, afternoon tea, or cocktails and live jazz.

A whole manner of British recipes feature on The Wharf Teddington menu, such as pot roast shank of lamb with savoy cabbage and root mash, London Pride battered cod and chips, as well as an enticing grill selection of premium steaks. There are Sunday roasts served, and the riverside setting makes this a popular spot for afternoon tea, with a range of homemade cakes on offer.

Desserts at The Wharf London are filled with classic flavours, including bitter chocolate tart with salted caramel ice cream, and apple and apricot crumble. The Wharf Teddington bar has a dramatic split level ceiling, and serves up cocktails, an extensive wine list, and even hosts live jazz evenings.

One of the best riverside dining destinations in London, The Wharf Teddington is a 13-minute walk from Teddington Rail Station.

We have eaten at the Wharf ever since it opened, and have never been disappointed. We usually have the River Menu at lunchtime as that suits our way of eating.
The setting is perfect, and we have been lucky enough to always have been seated overlooking the river. This helps to make the experience special.
The food has always been good and the service excellent - the staff take care of you without being over-fussy.
Yesterday's experience was as good as ever.

Nice buzzy environment and very good food attractively presented. So nice to eat somewhere that isn't obviously part of a chain. Complimentary prosecco Bellini was nice. Good service although our wine glasses were taken away whilst we still had over half a bottle of white chilling beside the table! We had to ask for fresh glasses when I noticed the remaining wine and these were provided promptly, and with fresh ice to re-chill the bottle, but I feel that the bottle could have been checked before clearing the glasses. A minor issue and readily dealt with, it's not a complaint just a suggestion! We had a lovely evening and will be back.

Brilliant service, food and location. Even though they were short staffed on the evening you would never have known; the staff pulled together, put in 110% and exceeded all expectations. (We only found out they were short when we left at the evening and had a chat with the team) We booked it for a special occasion (30th birthday) and didn't mention this until the end of the evening. It felt like they knew it was a special occasion and made sure we had a brilliant night from arrival to the moment we left.
