With floor-to-ceiling windows looking out on its idyllic riverside setting at Teddington Lock, The Wharf Teddington is a sleek, tranquil setting for modern British dishes, afternoon tea, or cocktails and live jazz.

A whole manner of British recipes feature on The Wharf Teddington menu, such as pot roast shank of lamb with savoy cabbage and root mash, London Pride battered cod and chips, as well as an enticing grill selection of premium steaks. There are Sunday roasts served, and the riverside setting makes this a popular spot for afternoon tea, with a range of homemade cakes on offer.

Desserts at The Wharf London are filled with classic flavours, including bitter chocolate tart with salted caramel ice cream, and apple and apricot crumble. The Wharf Teddington bar has a dramatic split level ceiling, and serves up cocktails, an extensive wine list, and even hosts live jazz evenings.

One of the best riverside dining destinations in London, The Wharf Teddington is a 13-minute walk from Teddington Rail Station.

Beautiful restaurant, great bar with "Brief Encounter" being shown, very discreetly, on the big screen above it. The restaurant was unusually quiet, but the ambience was still evident - a very happy atmosphere. The staff were polite and attentive without being obsequious and the maitre d' really gave the impression that he was delighted to have us there. Two of us had the white onion soup which, although we demolished it, was very salty. The chef, evidently, having tried it as a result, reported back to us (the salsa verde was to blame!). Otherwise, the starters were superb, as were the mains. We couldn't manage dessert. Lovely little additional touch for the birthdays we were celebrating too.
Stunning artwork on the wall. Ladies loos immaculately clean apparently!
Those in the party who hadn't been before can't wait to experience The Wharf in daylight.

Our U3A Italian Group enjoyed a belated Christmas Celebration Lunch at the Wharf yesterday. Perhaps better for being after Christmas because it was quieter. We much appreciated being able to use the set menu, even though there were nine of us, as this is very good value. The food was very good and well presented. Staff were friendly and helpful particularly the young lady who was with us from drinks in the bar until she retrieved our coats from the cloakroom.

I went with a party of nine for my birthday. The staff were very sweet and pleasant, but not very organised or competent.
Two of us ordered mussels, which arrived had no bowls for shells,no finger bowls,no spoons for the juice.everything had to asked for.
The waiters seemed to have no idea how people eat mussels.
Two people ordered burgers, well done and medium, which were given to the wrong guests and they had to swap we'll after they had started eating.
The head waiter then arrived to apologise for my streak being well done, not medium asked for. It was medium.
The a la carte menu is a little lacking, especially in puddings. Hardly any I would want to eat.
It is expensive for the standard of food we got.
I have been there at lunch with a set menu, which is much better value, but if they are going to charge these prices, the service and choice should be better

we love the service, food, location, everything. the staff are always friendly and attentive and when it is really busy you are still served with the same level of service and never made to feel rushed. whenever we have friends or family visiting we always take them to the wharf for lunch.

Ambiance and staff very friendly and attentive. Position of our table not good ... constant stream of staff passing into the main address area both sides of us and quite chilly. We booked on recommendation for the jazz band which was also advertised on the website so it was a big disappointment that it was a pianist and not the band.
