Executive chef Andrew Robertson has a passion for home-from-home foods and premium produce.     The sandwiches we got were stale so we sent them back. It took about an hour for them to bring a new platter with fresh sandwiches - which is an unacceptable amount of time to wait. The event had been planned for my nan's birthday so it was more than a little disappointing that we had to wait as long as we did.

    The staff were lovely and very apologetic but the service and the food really wasn't worth the price we paid.

    We did get a discount at the end because of the problem but I wouldn't go back here for afternoon tea and I also wouldn't recommend it.

    Awful, service was very slow , we were put in a corner and forgot about , asked for our afternoon tea to contain no fish as im severely allergic so they still put salmon on it,when i complain they then ask if tuna is ok, when we finally get it they had just removed the salmon and replaced it rather than start anew so still had a reaction to it, also had to ask four times for the glass off cava that came with iy, then they tried to add a service charge to the bill, which wehad to go to the bar to ask for it, bar area was outdated with dirty plates on most of the tables, staff did not seem to know what they were doing,having said that the afternoon tea itself was nice even though they could not get it right,
