Situated at InterContinental London Park Lane, the Wellington Lounge provides a truly fitting way to enjoy Afternoon Tea in London. Located on the site of 145 Piccadilly, the Queen’s former childhood residence, the Wellington Lounge is an award-winning location in which to experience this great British tradition.

The Wellington Lounge serves a collection of world cuisine, showcased through its all day tasters sharing menu. A superb afternoon tea programme has also been expertly crafted, featuring the hotel's own bespoke tea combinations. With an additional champagne afternoon tea option, a seasonal menu is also offered to showcase the best in British ingredients, ranging from steamed Devon red chicken to west coast Scottish lobster. Traditional English desserts like scones with Devonshire clotted cream are also a must.

With stunning views taking in Buckingham Palace and Big Ben, the Wellington Lounge is a time capsule of British sophistication and elegance in Mayfair.

Nice venue ,just that we had to wait half an hour for the sandwiches, and they weren't as good as other venues, the staff were very good (the champagne was not kept cold) but over all we had a nice afternoon.

I choose this place because they well confirmed us to provide high chairs for our children but they never brought us the chairs so our children had to stay always in their buggies. We were kept waiting for at least 20 minutes only for having menus. The service was very bad in general and we are so disappointed.

On the whole OK. Good location and lovely setting. Unfortunately the bread on the sandwiches was dry which detracted from the fillings. We had the last booking of the day and felt the sandwiches had either been made much earlier and left out in the air rather than being made to order. Made us wonder if the sandwiches were not eaten by other diners and replated. Whatever the cause of the dry sandwiches it spoilt our enjoyment especially as we were entertaining overseas visitors. our waiter did offer us a few more sandwiches which were much better. As a result, I will not be recommending this to anyone or indeed buying any more vouchers as gifts as I have done in the past

It's was a special occasion for me and my wife
It was a early birthday treat for me
The lounge was ok, on my arrival and asked for my booking there was not one there for me so was disappointed because I called to confirm the booking and had emailed confirmation
But we were acomadated by Andre he was very good

I was also disappointed that a hotel of this quiet would have little flies flying around the table around are afternoon tea and settling on the tea we had ordered I have pic of his and asked the tea to be removed
    At £175 payed was disappointed
We were also recommended your Italine restaurant too where we took dinner at a cost of £135 so overl experience poor cost me some of £310 place I will not recommend to my friend Andre was very good

We attended tea on the 16th October, the service was excellent from Andreas. We were well informed on which tea would compliment the sandwiches and cakes. Andreas explained very well tea Royal Tea or chocolate tea and champagne combination or the Queens favourite drink.
