Vivat Bacchus is a quiet restaurant tucked away from busy streets where the food is very good and very helpful and friendly service

Always great service and selection of food which is good quality. I ordered the risotto which despite being delicious, had too much salt and I had to send it back and order something else. I put this down to an over exuberant chef - this won't put me off and would still go back

Always a nice atmosphere here. The grilled chicken was delicious as was the cheese board.

V expensive for what it is. Apart from Wagyu & Ostrich 'novelty' steaks doesnt justify overall prices. Steak sandwich mostly fat, bread was stone cold. Wines seriously overpriced.

Fantastic service. Our waiter was attentive, friendly and always on hand with loads of wine! Having the live band in the background was also a nice touch.

Great wine list. The atmosphere was nice and warm but nothing really unique. The food was good as well. Loved the camembert with chutney
