A bohemian hideaway, Vinoteca Soho offers British and European cuisine alongside a superbly-crafted wine list. As well as an on-site wine shop, the contemporary dining space comes complete with exposed brickwork and splashes of lime green decor.

Offering frequently-changing dishes based on the season’s finest available ingredients, the Vinoteca menu showcases bold natural flavours. Enjoy classics like steak & chips, or juicy lamb and aubergine kebabs with cous cous, with all dishes complete with a recommendation from the renowned Vinoteca cellar.

Perfect accompaniments to the 300-strong wine cellar include sumptuous bar plates and cured meat cuts, perfect for a more casual dining experience. Fragrant wine flights are offered at Vinoteca restaurant in London which showcase 3 types of wine and grape combinations, drawing in connoisseurs and amateurs alike.

Offsetting the light-flooded 1st floor dining room, guests can look out onto the Soho bustle through floor-to-ceiling windows downstairs. Piccadilly Circus Tube Station is 5 minutes’ walk away.

    Really enjoyed!

Fabulous find, service was great. Neither of us wanted wine and were quite happy with tap water and unlike in other restaurants we weren't pushed to order other drinks. They allowed us to mix the main menu and the fixed price lunch menu. Food was great and the restaurant had a good atmosphere.

The service was a bit slow and we had to ask for water a couple of times as it had been forgotten. staff were not very attentive, checking we are ok with drinks we had to ask to order my drinks and trying to catch a member of staffs eye everything we needed something.

Staff were friendly. We sat downstairs in the Soho branch but had expressed a preference, when booking, for upstairs. It was a cold, wet day and we found it chilly downstairs.
We both chose the prix fixe menu. The first course, chosen by both of us, was mackerel with beetroot and was good but tiny and, oddly, it was spread thinly on a dinner plate rather than piled up on a smaller plate. My main course was dreadful, supposedly mushroom risotto but unrecognisable as such and tasteless. I was, however, given another dish, fish cakes with hollandaise sauce (I passed on the poached egg), and this was fine. The staff checked that I was then happy. My sister had luckily chosen this dish as her main course.
We finally ordered a pudding. I had ice cream and my sister chocolate terrine. We both enjoyed our choices.
Finally, I had a decaf flat white. It arrived luke warm and was no good anyway. I had lost the will to complain by then and said nothing.
I have visited this branch frequently and neither I nor my companion(s) have ever had disappointing food. I have to hope for Vinoteca's sake that this was a one-off experience.

A real find. We loved the excellent wines which were matched to the food. The fish stew as absolutely delicious served with crouton and rouille and the poached fish in the dish was perfectly cooked. The Onglet steak was also very tender and tasty.
The staff were friendly and engaging. We will definitely be back.
We had lunch before a matinee and chose to eat from the a la crate but the set menu is amazing value.
