Villagio Ristorante Chislehurst sits within a beautifully restored former police station and offers Italian-influenced cuisine. The elegantly appointed dining area features mirrors, cosy booths and an open plan kitchen with a pizza oven.

Packed full with all the classics, the Villagio menu features dishes cherry-picked from different regions of Italy. Choose from the predominantly Italian wine list, and choose from favourites like spinach & ricotta ravioli, crispy calamari, or a stone-baked rustica pizza with your choice of topping. Fish, meats and salads are also on offer at Villagio.

A plethora of classic desserts spans from panna cotta and tiramisu, to a house-recipe cheesecake of the day. Villagio Italian also serves up miniature-sized Italian classics for the little ones, and a coeliac menu for gluten-intolerant diners.

Villagio Ristorante in Bromley is a 7-minute drive from Chislehurst Caves and Chislehurst Rail Station.

The food was fine but not outstanding. We were brought dishes that we hadn't ordered. It was a busy night and very noisy.

A pizza, risotto and a salad was all delicious ....
The two desserts were yummy too. Service was attentive and friendly .... It was just such a shame that it was empty....
We'll still go back, we had a good evening thank you !!

Always a great night out in my favourite Italian restaurant. Food is lovely and not too costly and the service is always prompt and friendly. Definitly worth a visit.

Had to wait for 30 mins for our table was told to wait at bar .Waited to be served then only to be told that they were not serving drinks at the bar had to get manager so we could get a drink then when we did get seated waited 20 mins still no waitress so had to get manager again to take order was given a compliment bottle of Prosecco for our troubles then to add insult to injury when ask for a coffee at the end of the meal was told that they shut at 11 we then explained that if they had sat us down at the correct time and served us a bit quicker then we would have enough time to have coffee and desert

Absolutely fantastic meal. The service is excellent from the moment they see you walking in. The food is the highlight, probably my favourite Italian restaurant outside of London, and believe me I try them all. All round perfect experience every time that I tell all my friends about.

The one thing I'd like to suggest to the chef is a return of the original antipasti board - with goats cheese, arancini etc. All I have left is a photo from those times but it was sooooo good!
