fabulous evening, wonderful food. Was a little annoyed that the six course dinner we had gone for isn't avaliable after 9pm,which wasn't mentioned until we tried to order it!!

Eve dining. Excellent food prettily presented and charming staff. We accepted the glass of wine suggested for the starter and main courses i.e a total of 2 glasses of wine each. However cost of 3 courses plus 2 glasses wine and 12½% added service was [$] which seemed expensive in this area. I would hesitate to rush back for this reason.

We had a pre dinner drink on the deck outside the restaurant, great view over the vinyard as it was a lovely June evening. The staff were friendly, attentive and knowledgable about the food and wine. We had the taster menu and thought the dishes well chosen and good value for money. We would go again

We dined early evening and had a drink on the patio watching the sun going down over the vineyard. Very subtle and beautifully cooked food - not for someone looking for a conventional curry house! Not cheap, but worth it. Try the tasting menus , but only if you have not eaten all day.

Vatika is in a picturesque location on Wickham Vineyards. For us, the restaurant falls into the 'special occasion' category. We dined at 20.00 on a Friday night, with friends. Whilst not cheap, you certainly get what you pay for; we opted for the 10 course taster menu, complete with different wines matched to each course. Food, wine and service were all superb and none of us would hesitate to dine again.

We had a birthday celebration dinner, our first visit to this restaurant. Food and service were excellent and a great deal of thought had gone into all the dishes, both in terms of taste and presentation. It certainly isn't cheap but I think it offers good value for this type of cuisine. There's an Indian influence in the food but in a quite subtle way. The location is rather isolated but it looks as if it would be great in summer, next to the vineyard (we went on a bitter early March evening).
