From renowned chef Anthony Demetre, Urban Coterie offers ingredient-led seasonal cooking with spectacular views of London. Exquisitely presented dishes are crafted in the open kitchen, whilst an extensive selection of wines and cocktails are on offer at the bar.

The Urban Coterie menu blends rich, seasonal flavours. For lunch with a view, try tagliatelle of cuttlefish with squid ink, or slow-cooked ox cheeks, followed by a lemon tart with candied zest. At dinner, discover the likes of haunch of venison with date and Armagnac jam, roast halibut with mussels and sweet onions, or belly of pork with heritage carrot, cavolo nero and grapefruit relish.

Floor-to-ceiling windows frame the city views, with wooden floors and contemporary décor adding to the urban theme. Urban Coterie in London is also home to a chic bar, serving an impressive selection of world wines and creative cocktails.

Enjoy a relaxed vibe and 'travel the world' via sparkling wine at Urban Coterie's 16th-floor lounge. Choose a ‘wine of the week’ from the blackboard or receive a recommendation from a member of the team, and order an artisan cheeseboard for the table to share.

Urban Coterie restaurant sits high above City Road, a 2-minute walk from Old Street Tube Station.

Amazing views, but the food and wine weren't great, it was almost empty and the bill was double what should have been.

Nice restaurant an good dishes. The location is very attractive and the Chef prepares every dishes very carefully, the overall quality is rather good.
Not happy with the final bill where I have found £156 in addition and without a clear explanation.

Everything was great, booked it for the New Year's Eve. There was a dj and a saxophonist, which was a nice touch. You can see London Eye from one of the windows.

Overall food was ok but the waiters were too stressed. They cleaned and served us too quickly, there was no time between each meal.

We had a table by the window with a great view. Lunch deal menu of three courses and glass of bubbly for £29.90 was good value with a reasonable choice. A few wines available at reasonable price, the rest >£40 per bottle.

We went for the set menu option (3 courses and a glass of champagne), the menu itself had enough to choose from based on our dietary requirements and the food itself was good alongside the surroundings. My only real "complaint" as such was that the service was quite slow, the starter came out within a reasonable amount of time but we waited at least 30 minutes (perhaps more) for our mains, the waitress apologised for this and had removed the service charge from the bill as a good will gesture.

Great views, nice meal (we had the set lunch) and very helpful waiter who was particularly helpfful when it came to choosing the wine which matched the food, our taste and our pockets. Pity there weren't more people to enjoy it, though the upside of that was that we had one of the few window tables for two people.
