Service was polite, efficient and unobtrusive and the food was certainly among the highest standard to be had in the city. While not cheap, it was not outrageously expensive and I found it very good value for money. I will certainly be visiting this restaurant again.

We loved visiting the Two Fat Ladies. Both food and drink were outstanding, as was the service. It's now one of our favorite restaurants in Glasgow.

We visited 2FL @ The Buttery on a cold dreich Friday in February, but the superb staff and delicious food soon banished all thoughts of Winter! We started with the Linguine and Scallops both of which were superb, The Linguine having the edge in terms of the extremely tasty zesty sauce which was so Moreish my lady wished it came with an extra jug of pouring sauce!

The mains did not disappoint, the lady loved the Pigeon which was served pink with a beautiful medley of roasted vegetables. My Fillet steak was good, but slightly on the tough side, it was served with a crushed black pudding marsh and a delicate pepper cream sauce..... my lady opted for the Panna cotta which had a fruity jelly topping and an subtle Scottish honey undertone making it one of the best deserts we had tasted in many a year! I had a coffee served with the traditional selection of Buttery petit four treats. All in all including wine £100 well spent .... we will return!

I loved everything. The tartan carpet, tartan chair coverings, the kilt wearing waiters, the entire tartan theme contrasted so well with the dark wood surroundings. The food was amazing, the staff were attentive. I would r 2 Fat Ladies at the Buttery a 5??.

I have eaten here several times before and the fish and service is superb. However the prices have gone up as well. £25.50 for halibut and vegetables (have it without the mash) has become somewhat expensive. Whether it is now value for money remains for the eater to decide.
