We liked the ambience, the menu choice the food and the service. It was ideal for a pre-opera dinner and the menu was also able to accommodate our vegetarian nephew without difficulty. Everything tasted very clean and fresh - so that you could enjoy the individual flavours.

Tuttons offers exceptional value if the diner, as in my case, uses Tastecard. My starter of corned beef hash and main of Dingly Dell Pork were cooked to perfection and very tasty. I opted to have summer fruits jelly will blood orange sorbet which was a good choice of dessert for a warm evening. Service was friendly and efficient and I enjoyed the ambience. I've dined here many times before and will do so again. To me it's a reliable restaurant well-situated in Covent Garden.

We dined at lunch time from the Tuttons Temptations offer menu. I chose corned beef hash, with fried egg and pickle for a starter-which I had to send back. Corned beef is a soft, flakey processed meat that is easily mashed with potato to make "hash". The dish I was served had some shoelace sized strips of meat on top of mashed potato, which were horribly chewy and almost inedible. It was not corned beef hash as I know it. It was such a shame-I was looking forward to it. I've eaten several times at Tuttons and this time was a disappointment. I ordered the cod dish for my main course but this was "off" compounding my disappointment with the dining experience.

One of the main courses was over cooked, the other was under cooked!

Excellent service as usual, great food. There's always a good ambience and prompt service which is what you want before going to the theatre.

    Desserts were disappointing.
Panna cotta had a consistency almost like rubber.
Creme Brulee with cinnamon had some extra taste that did not go down well.
