A rustic local pub in the parish village of Trinity, Trinity Arms offers homely gastro-pub dining. A single-floored stone building with beautiful Georgian sash windows, Trinity Arms boasts a relaxed al fresco dining area.

The Trinity Arms menu is a seasonally-changing selection, offering tantalising options such as an oven-baked curried cod fillet and a slow-cooked lamb shank in red wine and rosemary with lentils and minted new potatoes. Drinks feature a range of eclectic French and New World wines, while award-winning locally-brewed Liberation Ale is on tap.

Simple yet elegant, the interior of the Trinity Arms in Jersey mixes smooth wooden floorboards with whitewashed stone walls and sleek dark brown leather sofas. As well as seasonal dining menus, there’s a host of timeless pub classics like beer-battered fish and chips, gourmet burgers and gammon and eggs.

Offering free Wi-Fi to guests, Trinity Arms occupies a rural spot in central Jersey, just a minute’s drive off the Route de la Trinité.

As we were on holiday we knew nothing about this pub restaurant - unfortunately. If the food had been good we'd have looked past the tired and dated decor, but the food was terrible. We went on a Sunday and the car park was full- a good sign we thought. However the occupants of those cars were elsewhere in the building and after hearing some results of something being read out they all left without eating. It was Sunday and we chose the roast beef dinner. It arrived on the table at amazing speed. The vegetables were clearly out of a packet from the freezer and had no taste. The potatoes had a strange taste. The beef was tough and the gravy was awful with a very floury taste. It was so bad I didn't eat mine (and I have never not eaten a meal out before). My husband soldiered on 'as I'm paying for it'. To give the owners their due they didn't charge for my dinner. It wasn't a pleasant experience and in a fairly large dining room only a couple of other tables were taken. So obviously the locals don't go there. My husband asked a waiter for a second coke (which we were told was from a can) and although it appeared on the bill it never reached our table.

Lovely meal at The Trinity Arms last night. Food was excellent as usual - very tasty and lots of it. An excellent choice of foods available - especially on the Specials Board. Both waiters were very attentive and very happy people.

Had the lasagne and it was amazing, very cheesy and meaty, the restaurant is lovely, feels very cozy and homely, during the winter weather they light a small coal fire which adds a great atmosphere and homely mood.
