From the team behind Marcus Wareing’s fleet of restaurants, Tredwells in Covent Garden delivers contemporary British cooking in a relaxed, neighbourhood dining room. Winner of AA's Restaurant of the Year - London, delicious cocktails join fresh, seasonal produce in a restaurant that’s clearly proud of its location at the heart of the capital.

Amongst the tempting starters on the Tredwells restaurant menu is harissa-glazed aubergine with peanuts, coriander and chilli. Main dishes are rich in flavour and whilst the menu continues to evolve, items such as the Chateaubriand have become instant classics.

From the plush leather seating or metal bar stools, enjoy London-themed cocktails, world wines and craft beers. Tredwells also plays host to live jazz sessions every Friday and Saturday.

Tredwells in London sits amidst the trendy bustle of Seven Dials, and is just a 2-minute walk from Leicester Square Tube Station.

Overall an excellent experience, from the very good welcome through the service to the food, which was superb, thanks to all at the restaurant.

Very refined, spectacular menu. Service could be faster at start (took 30mins to order food). But service during courses was flawless

The deal was s good price but any extra veg which we thought was needed is charged for. The restaurant was very professional, friendly and well organised. The staff were fabulous. Friendly, attentive and knowledgable of both the menu and the wines. I like to find things I can criticise in restaurents and annoyingly I found nothing. If I was really picky, then I found the lamb to be slightly sinewy, and I mean just slightly. I had just been to the dentist though!!!
My wife thought the same and also said that the whole place was extremely clean, and it was nice to get actual hot water in the toilets. So many places nowadays try to save money by only having cold water.
Will definitely be back and recommend wholeheartedly.

The whole experience was fine. On arrival and throughout Staff friendly, courteous and efficient. Food delicious. Perhaps one side dish could have been included in the set meal price.

Wonderful starter the Burrata on a pepper pesto .
However, the ravioli was really bad I think it had been reheated in an oven or microwave? Very crisp and rubbery around the edges with the strangest tasting pumpkin mixture filling. They were happy to take it back and I settled for the seabass which was good. B. Had the crab starter and the monkfish with truffle pasta and sweet potato sides which were both o.k.. It's nice and quiet on Monday at lunch time and the service was pretty good.
