It was a buzzing place. Great service with good quality food. Set menu was good value. Will return again.
The restaurant was buzzing so I would suggest they choose softer/ calmer music instead of loud music so we can actually hear our conversation

From the team behind Marcus Wareing’s fleet of restaurants, Tredwell’s in Covent Garden is a modern take on London traditions. Winner of AA's Restaurant of the Year - London, delicious cocktails join fresh, seasonal produce in a restaurant that’s clearly proud of its location at the heart of the capital.
Amongst the tempting starters on the Tredwell’s restaurant menu is harisa-glazed aubergine with peanuts, coriander and chilli. Main dishes are rich in flavour and whilst the menu continues to evolve, items such as the Chateaubriand have become instant classics.
From the plush leather seating or metal bar stools, enjoy London-themed cocktails, world wines and craft beers. Tredwell's also plays host to regular gin and jazz evenings, and live jazz every Friday and Saturday.
During summer, guests can enjoy seasonal cocktails out on the chic terrace, while sat under the shade of nautical-style parasols. On Sundays, 'Summer Soiree' sessions see cocktail sipping complemented by smooth live jazz.
Tredwell’s in London sits amidst the trendy bustle of Seven Dials, and is just a 2-minute walk from Leicester Square Tube Station.

Food was cold and a little bland. Had the £28 for 3 courses offer with chocolates to take home, but never received the chocolates. however service was friendly and ambience of the restaurant was nice.

Very disappointing. The crab had shell in it. The medium steak was blue in the middle. The cod was swimming in a pool of water at the bottom of the plate which was changed which meant when I got it back I only had half the same portion on a dry plate so I lost half my meal. The salted caramel dessert might as well have been ice cream which was so salty it was unpleasant. The panna cotta and hollandaise were served in what can only be described as baby food jars and the disabled toilet opens straight into the restaurant emitting rather nasty aromas during the meal. The staff paid no attention to us, offered no drinks, bread or olives and at no time asked if any of the food was ok which it wasn't.

The experience was fabulous from start to finish. I was in London to complete the London Bridges Challenge and had booked to have lunch before I travelled home in the evening. I arrived early but was greeted by a really friendly receptionist who organised for me to be seated straight away. I was very grateful as I was tired after completing a charity walk. Being an hour early didn't faze her at all, she very promptly and calmly organised a table for me. The waiter was very attentive throughout the entire meal, without being the often unwelcome presence that you find in some restaurants. I was eating alone and I felt very well looked after the whole time. I dined on a Sunday lunchtime, the restaurant was full, lots of couples and families, the atmosphere was really lively, fun and friendly. I had the set 3 course menu and it was absolutely divine. Started with the Grey Goose cocktail, which was utterly delicious and went down very well indeed, I chose the chicken ravioli starter which was superb. Beautifully thin pasta packed with tasty filling with real texture, not a ground up mush that you often find in ravioli. Main course was caramelised cod, really generous portion, beautifully cooked and presented, very very satisfying. Dessert was vanilla panna cotta served with warm little cakes, again absolutely delicious. Perfect texture, not the tough gloopy texture that you often get when too much gelatine has been added. These chefs know their stuff ! I'm a pud girl,, trust me ??. My favourite feature in the restaurant was the large wall clock made up of cutlery. Very clever concept, very apt, great talking point with the customers. I watched several families point it out to their children. I want to take my own grandchildren to dine at this restaurant. I liked the way the children were treated here, as customers, not as a nuisance. It was a perfect dining experience, I recommend it to anyone looking for top quality dining at a very reasonable price. Thank you.

This was my second time at Tredwell's. The first time I was amazed with the food and service. Therefore I invited some friends to share good experience. It is a great shame that I couldn't.. I was disappointed with the level of service/consumer attention and the food. For starter I've had over salted chicken ravioli. For main course we've ordered steaks medium rare, no blood. Instead we've received rare with blood. We've been given and charged for side which we didn't order. A pannacota desert was sour and insipid. There was very little attention to our table. No wine or water top ups.

Good quality food. Slightly disappointed that the hanger steak, which has a £5 supplement, also needed an additional side.

Lovely ambience with low level lighting and interesting features.
Service was friendly, informative and attentive.
We really enjoyed our meal here, at I am rating at 4 stars because our main courses were not at wonderful as the starters, deserts, wines and cocktails.
At this level of dining I expect consistency.
I had the chantenay carrots to start and they were divine, delicate with intricate flavours. My partner had the Brixham crab and was equally happy (we started with the grey goose cocktails and it was gorgeous, hard to not quaff it!).
My main of cod lacked flavour (although beautifully cooked), my partner's steak tasted burnt in several places.
Our deserts were sumptuous, and wines fragrant.
A lovely evening, but the mains need to be bought up to standard.
(We decided to not have the cheese board as the table next to us had ordered it - the cheese portions were not generous. It came with plenty of crackers and 2 hearty slices of cake. We both would have ordered only if there had been larger cheese portions in place of cake.)
