This a friendly place at a little street of chelsea . Congratulations to the amazing staff. I recommend the Hommus as start, and the seven hours lamb (to share), all of them perfect.

Blending simplicity with big, bold flavours, Tom’s Kitchen Chelsea features a classy brasserie and 1st-floor bar. From multi-award-winning chef Tom Aikens, the hearty British fare at Tom’s Kitchen also pays homage to fine Italian, French and American flavours.

Seasonality is key to the bespoke Tom Aikens menu, with blackboard specials and rich creations like slow-cooked pork belly with crushed root vegetables, honey parsnips and a pork and apple sauce, or poached monkfish with escabeche, saffron sauce and a herb crust. From the grill come juicy burgers and steaks served with triple-cooked chips, while Tom's Kitchen desserts include chocolate and peanut butter fondant with vanilla ice cream.

Brunch at Tom’s Kitchen features gourmet twists, with signature dishes including seasonal berry pancakes, truffle Eggs Benedict or Tom’s namesake full English. A varied kids’ menu is also on offer, served at breakfast, lunch & dinner.

An open kitchen with a wood-smoked oven, spit roast and grill brings a homely yet vibrant feel to this Tom Aikens restaurant. Classic cocktails and an impressive wine list are served at the bar. Tom’s Kitchen Chelsea also boasts 2 beautiful areas that are available for private hire.

Food was great, but service very poor. We frequently had to chase up staff and it was also very unfortunate that we had a table in direct line of the air conditioning unit and ended up eating our dinner with jackets on. In fairness we asked one member of staff to turn it down, which he duly did, but within 30 seconds a different waiter turned it back up. We decided to forget about dessert and leave, without leaving any tip

Tom's Kitchen was a real disappointment! The menu looked very promising, especially as one of our party (of 3) is vegetarian and a picky eater.
The room is pleasant enough so first impressions were good but sadly it went downhill from there. 2 of the dishes we ordered were already sold out even though it was only 8.45pm. I had two dishes from the special 'Chelsea Flower Show' menu : the crab salad was far too heavy on the mayonnaise ,the courgette flower and pistachio risotto was bland and tasteless, overcooked rice which seemed completely plain with just some courgette flowers prettily laid across the top, again totally tasteless, and pistachios conspicuous by their absence!
The fish and chips was redeemed by delicious fat chips, but the fish batter was heavy and the mushy peas had something very hard in them (nuts??) which made them inedible. The service was also poor, even though the restaurant was not full.

We have visited this restaurant several times before and the quality of the food has always been first class unfortunately on this occasion it was not. The food was not hot and the service was slow.

Very nice Good friendly service. Food flavours were lovely but was a little cold on arrival. Noisy ambience so have to speak up!

We always go through Toms Kitchen when we visit London as we enjoy the atmosphere and the food is good. Last evening there were large groups in which meant delays in service and some dishes unavailable which was a shame however we put that down to a glitch. We will definitely return.

Puddings absolutely delicious on both counts - Chelsea Flower Show Pannacotta and my own Mrs Beeton's Snow Eggs were wonderful. Main courses were ok - my chicken was perfectly cooked but broth far too salty and more like a sauce than a broth - I would have liked a lighter broth and more of it!
