Food was very nice, however we had to wait for half an hour before the food turned up and that happened only when we asked where the food was. We went here for our one hour lunch break, so felt very rushed eating.

Excellent burgers, good value and charming service. Not sure there's much needs adding to that really. We ate in the bar restaurant but on this experience, may well try the Attic restaurant on our next visit

    What a wonderful experience!
That's the title of my experience at Tompkins!
I ate the best burger (the blue cheese buger) I ever had in London and my boyfriend ordered the tagliata meat and it was so tasty and perfectly cooked.
Everything was well presented and the quality is absolutely excellent.
In the end, we took the desserts: simply art on a plate...pannacotta and semifreddo!
We sincerely recommend this restaurant to everyone who can appreciate excellent food, impeccable service and relaxing atmosphere!
    No doubt: 5 stars!

Poor Sunday menu: despite advance notice provision for coeliacs and lactose intolerant was poor. Kitchen closes very early.

Two numbers provided on website are not working, email enquiry I assume are checked once are week. I wasn't able to update my booking.
Food nice compare to prices. Really worth to buy Groupon voucher. Just not agree that mix of see food is main dish, it's simple snack plate to beer lovers.
Service, OK too. We had quite quick diner but still places never been cleaned.

Sausage and mash was nice, more gravy would have worked and the dinning area could have been a little bit warmer inside.

The food at Tompkins's is sublime, the 1st time we actually ate every mouthful in a restaurant and the 1st time my husband actually wanted to try the dessert. I had the gamberoni (tiger prawns and chorizo with cherry tomatoes and brescia) and my husband had the calamari which was the start of a wonder evening, I then had the sea bass on a bed of mash potatoes and a light tomato sauce which melted in the mouth and my husband had the T bone steak with a peppercorn sauce and a side order of fries . The steak was cooked to ( in my husband's own words) perfection. At this stage we both decided the food was so good we just had to try a dessert I had a caramel souffle (which came with a toffee sauce and vanilla ice cream) and my husband had the strawberry cheesecake and we wasn't disappointed it was so good that nothing was left on our plates. The staff were wonderful and nothing was to much trouble, we were made to feel special and the atmosphere was very welcoming. We will definitely be returning to Tompkins's in the future and maybe even try the cocktail bar that overlooks the London skyline. Thank-you Tompkins's for giving us a anniversary meal to remember.
