Vegetables and Potatoes were all Bland and tasteless. Strawberries weren't fresh. Cheap price, very cheap produce.

Busy when we arrived. Took some time to get a table. Sat for ages and ended up going to the bar for our drinks. Food was good but was disappointed at the lack of variety in vegetables. Would have liked cauliflower and broccoli etc.

    Not the best.

Got seated straight away which was nice as we were early.

However ordered drinks before going up which didn't arrive until we had made a good start into our dinner. With it not being busy would of been better having drinks there waiting for us.

Carvery was OK but to be honest very bland. I can't say it was really tasty it was just food. And to say this is the main product you do I wasn't impressed.
My other half asked for beef and got mainly fat. Had to ask for more meat.
The squash still had the skin on and tasted awful!
    The cauliflower cheese was bland.
The best thing on my plate was the red cabbage which actually had a nice taste.
    The rest just blended in.

Also after plating our dinner up there was no normal beef gravey - both saucepans were empty.
And 2/4 sauce bowls were also empty.
We had to flag someone down to get more gravy.

Too be honest it's been better when the place is rammed with people. Don't offer food if your winding down.

We'll not be coming back in a hurry!
