Right on the sea front and offering views out across the water, Toby Carvery Thorpe Bay serves up a feast of Sunday roast delicacies all week long. There are menus for children, indulgent desserts, and al fresco seating to enjoy the sea air.
Featuring classic British roasts every day of the week, the Toby Carvery menu is renowned for its crowd-pleasing selection. Choose from juicy, slow-cooked meats, seasonal vegetables and hand-ruffled potatoes (with each one checked to make sure it’s gorgeously crispy). Tempting alternatives at this Toby Carvery in Southend include allotment pie, and salmon with coriander and lime, while a varied vegetarian range includes the broccoli & brie parcel.
Old-school puddings are always on offer at Toby Carvery pubs, with famous signature crumbles served alongside chocolate & cherry torte, and baked vanilla cheesecake. The drinks list features beers, ciders, wines and soft drinks, and full-works, all-you-can-eat breakfasts are served each day.
A great family-friendly spot next to the sea, Toby Carvery Thorpe Bay is a 6-minute drive from Southend East Rail Station.

Overall the dining experience was OK we had to wait about 15 minutes before someone came to our table to take our order but apart from that everything was OK.

We have been going for the last two years every Wednesday but I have to say the recent manager doesn't sell the place there's been several times when no acknowledgement made will waiting 5 10 mins with no eye contact all it takes is sorry guys be with you in a minute also although the girls are lovely Juliette carol and Paula they have had too many people to serve and last week we went somewhere else because although there were lots of empty tables not enough staff to clear them . We will still go every week in the hope service will improve as we did love it here come on management up your game
