The staff we very friendly and welcoming, restaurant was spotless food was lovely. Nothing was to much trouble for the staff. I did think that there could have been a bit more choice for children who don't enjoyed roast dinner.

I like going here as the staff are friendly and remember you from previous visits. The food is always nice with plenty of choice of meat and vegetables. We just really like it here.

The staff are friendly enough. The food good. Everything else really lets the place down.
Arrived 35 mins early for a 6.30pm booking. The group was mum, dad, 3 year old and 16 month old. Having explained our early arrival to the barista, she assured us that she would probably be able to seats us early. There was no uncertainty - she sounded quite sure. As it happened, we sat until 6.35pm to be seated. The kids were really cranky by this point. Every single group that had arrived after us were seated before us. We then noted that the queue for the food was extremely long. It was 7pm before we sat down to begin eating. Given the nature of carvery, its disappointing to have to wait 65 mins before actually beginning to consume some food. The poor kids were famished. Very doubtful we'll return. The manager gave us a fairly non committal apology. In fact he said queuing for the food like this is what we should expect at Toby!
