Hearty Sunday roasts are on the menu all week at Toby Carvery Southend. A selection of British-sourced meats are served with all the trimmings, there are dedicated kids' menus, and al fresco seating for when the weather allows.

Featuring classic British roasts every day of the week, the Toby Carvery menu is renowned for its crowd-pleasing selection. Choose from juicy, slow-cooked meats, seasonal vegetables and hand-ruffled potatoes (with each one checked to make sure it’s gorgeously crispy). Tempting alternatives at this Toby Carvery in Southend include allotment pie, and salmon with coriander and lime, while a varied vegetarian range includes the broccoli & brie parcel.

Old-school puddings are always on offer at Toby Carvery pubs, with famous signature crumbles served alongside chocolate & cherry torte, and baked vanilla cheesecake. The drinks list features beers, ciders, wines and soft drinks, and full-works, all-you-can-eat breakfasts are served each day.

A great family-friendly eatery with a welcoming ambience, Toby Carvery Southend is a 7-minute drive away from Prittlewell Rail Station.

The food was fine, the meat was sliced slowly and thinly but the meal on a whole was good. We were sat on a table for 4 with a table for 2 very close to us. The space between the two tables was not very big, so aware of other people hearing our conversation and vice versa.

90th birthday lunch booked for my mother. Initially booked online for 11:30, but moved back to 12:00 when two of the diners visited and spoke to staff. There was no problem when the numbers increased by 6! Everyone very helpful, allowed us to decorate the table, and considering the numbers involved, coped very well with dessert ordering! We've eaten here a lot and will carry on doing so - you can't beat a Toby Carvery!!

I went to the Toby carvery bell Southend on Sunday and it was the worst my we had ever
We were seated promptly and the staff were wonderful but the chefs serving of the meats was unacceptable we were served just a miniscule strip of fat
We will never return there and definitely don't recommend.

Large variety of dishes. Lady serving was too slow and cuts of meat were poor.

I have dined a number of times at 2 of your carveries. I think they are excellent value for money and a welcoming atmosphere.
I have a little gripe about last night. The food was cooked the way I like it. But the veg was barely warm when I got my meal. This is a pet hate, I appreciate with your style of serving that you can't keep it piping hot. But it needs to be far warmer than it was. I ordered coffee, I only have a tiny drop of milk so it is virtually black, the coffee was also Luke warm.

Would have been nice to have been told there was a child's menu on the piece of paper that we thought was a colouring sheet then the children would have eaten instead of wasting two meals

Booking was easy. The guy who served us was polite and friendly. The meat, however was tough and chewy. Two of our party of four didn't eat it.
