A stone's throw from the beautiful Epping Forest, Toby Carvery Snaresbrook is a traditional setting for classic British roast dinners with all the trimmings, with children's menus also offered, and indulgent desserts.

Featuring classic British roasts every day of the week, the Toby Carvery menu is renowned for its crowd-pleasing selection. Choose from juicy, slow-cooked meats, seasonal vegetables and hand-ruffled potatoes (with each one checked to make sure it’s gorgeously crispy). Tempting alternatives at this Toby Carvery in East London include allotment pie, and salmon with coriander and lime, while a varied vegetarian range includes the broccoli & brie parcel.

Old-school puddings are always on offer at Toby Carvery pubs, with famous signature crumbles served alongside chocolate & cherry torte, and baked vanilla cheesecake. The drinks list features beers, ciders, wines and soft drinks, and full-works, all-you-can-eat breakfasts are served each day.

A perfect spot for visitors to Epping Forest to relax and recharge, and a short drive from the shopping attractions in Stratford, Toby Carvery Snaresbrook is only 2 minutes' walk from Snaresbrook Tube Station.

We had our lunch on Sunday but we're not told at the door that you only had one oven working and so the meat was quite red and really tough because i think it was rushed out of the oven and there was no Yorkshire pudding. Also my husband is vegetarian and had to ask for veggie gravy. When the chef brought it out he put a beef gravy label in front of it. So he asked for the veggie gravy and the chef said that is the veggie one. HIs tone was rude and impatient. He then turned to the other chef and said something to him in a foreign language about my husband. My husband said seriously that's unnecessary and the chef asked him if he said anything and challenged him. My husband is not aggressive in any way and didn't say anything to provoke him. I understand he was having a bad day but to speak to customers like that...... I dont want to go back to snaresbrook again. We go regularly to tobys and this particular day was a party of 6 for our friends 50th birthday. It was awful and ruined our whole day.

Had pate as starter but should have had toast instead of rather dry bread and far too much pate for amount of bread served.
Carvery very good with vast amounts of very varied vegetables, plus bread sauce, cranberry sauce etc.

Food was satisfactory but I would like to see the return of the old prawn cocktail as a starter . The carvery was good but it took some time to be served as there was only one chef carving and serving the meat. Service was excellent with bubbly staff
