our visit was rather disappointing, the beef was tough, and, the service could have been better, kept waiting to order drinks, and the pigs in blankets arrived to late to eat with lunch, i asked for cranberry sauce, to eat with my turkey, and, the waitress said that there was not any left, , i asked another waitress, and, she went and, got some for me, my lunch would have been ruined without cranberry sauce, it was the first time my quests had been to mr. toby, so all round it was not a good experience.

Although the food was of the tiny standard, I thought the lay out is a bit cluttered together and the floor where the food is served is very slippery and dangerous. Ordered deserts that took over 30 mins to arrive I wouldn't have minded but by the time we ordered deserts the restaurant was quieter to when we arrived. Wouldn't use this branch of Toby again if given a choice.

The wall next to our table was filthy, with gravy and fat stains all over it, which was off putting.
My mum & dad had dinner & they said theirs was nice, mine was awful. I had beef & it was just lumps of fat, & the little meat there was was so tough you couldn't cut it & the gravy was thin & so watery it was see-through on the plate. Veg & roast potatoes were lovely though. I asked to go up & get something else & chose turkey, & a different gravy & it was fine.
But definately not the best Toby I've been to.
