Food was good with exception of yorkshire pudding which was like eating air.

Beef very fatty was over priced for bank holiday.

Food was great as usual and service wonderful. However the restaurant did not appear to have heard of the 20% discount and I had to convince them.

Despite being a carvery, we come for the vegan options! Several (good) choices for vegans, including a very nice chocolate cherry torte for dessert (though they could do with adding a vegan sauce to go with this; perhaps a fruits of the forest compote or similar?). Carvery queue can be long and tedious at busy periods however.
Generally food is very good, staff friendly and helpful, and prices are reasonable too. Building itself is a bit tired however.
