When we arrived, staff didn't know we were expected as I had booked by email and they said that they only check their emails first thing in the morning but the member of staff soon had a table for 7 plus a high chair ready for us. Had to wait quite a time for the pizzas and burgers but kept the children happy with plates of starter and chips. I had the fish and it was freshly cooked and very tasty. The Eton mess was disappointing - tinned strawberries and lack of meringue. A very busy restaurant but the girls seemed to know what they were doing and tidied the tables when required.
