Waiter was there almost immediately to show us to table so that was good. Drink order taken straight away, so that was fine. Carvery meal was o.k. But could have been hotter and fresher. Potatoes had been there for a while and were dry. People sitting near us complained to waiter and manager about their meals so that made us consider ours more carefully. Had to ask for chef to come out from kitchen to serve us, no gravy left in either pot, but when asked, they bought it out quickly. Definite shabby feel about whole restaurant. Could do better!!!

I always enjoy the carvery and what good value for money it is. Also your staff are so friendly and nice, particularly the lady who booked us in at the entrance and the lovely waiter who took our wine order and cleared our plates. They were both very pleasant and both seemed to have a very good sense of humour. I really enjoyed the food and the visit. It was my birthday and they made it special!

The staff on the door were incredibly rude and unwelcoming. Not at all professional either. This is the second time I've found this to be an issue at this restaurant. The food was ok but some of it was a bit cold and tasted like it had been cooked ages ago. The waitress was lovely and made up for the poor staff on arrival. Overall the experience was mediocre.

Very enjoyable but we were put in an area with a large party and found it quite difficult to hold a conversation as they were very loud when talking

Service was very slow, chief kept dissapearing so we had to wait for meat to be carved, also pots of veg were not replenished very quickly, so meat got cold while waiting
