Hi, yes we found the food well cooked and pleasant, but we found the total bill expensive as did a few people we spoke to in your restaurant the actual meal is expensive compared to a pub meal, after all it's only a Sunday roast and nothing exciting , don't get me wrong we enjoyed the roast, with the drinks expensive.

Have eaten here before with no problem but this time: chicken breast for child was tough, overcooked and unpleasant. My beef was meagre and slimy/gristly. Many of the yorkshires were overdone and some of the veg looked dry/unappealing. Tables too close together - lost count of the number of times the back of my chair got knocked. Best thing was the make your own sundaes which the children liked. Didn't like the compulsory refillable drinks for children as neither could manage more than half of the first glass. Only one grubby menu on the table which didn't include desserts. Only one child received a children's menu after asking for them. Disappointing, but to be fair, when I commented on the tough chicken we were given the children's sundaes free.

Service okay. Food was on the cool side. Price increase is considered to be excessive.

Had a great meal and the dessert was just yummy .
There were 7 of us and not one of us had any complaints.
We were served by a young man who was very polite and nothing was to much trouble for him.
He even apologised for one of the drinks that was ordered in a long glass and it was given to him in a smaller one.
He even offered to change it,but there wasn't a problem.
The chef was great and a good laugh.
Thank you all for a great service.
    Happy Christmas.
