Featuring classic British roasts every day of the week, the Toby Carvery menu is renowned for its crowd-pleasing selection. Choose from juicy, slow-cooked meats, seasonal vegetables and hand-ruffled potatoes (with each one checked to make sure it’s gorgeously crispy). Tempting alternatives at this Toby Carvery in Brentwood include allotment pie, and salmon with coriander and lime, while a varied vegetarian range includes the broccoli & brie parcel.
Old-school puddings are always on offer at Toby Carvery pubs, with famous signature crumbles served alongside chocolate & cherry torte, and baked vanilla cheesecake. The drinks list features beers, ciders, wines and soft drinks, and full-works, all-you-can-eat breakfasts are served each day.
A classic example of British pub tradition, Toby Carvery Brentwood is only a 7-minute walk from Brentwood Rail Station.

Restaurant very busy as it was Easter Monday but the food was exceptionally good this visit, a much better variety of vegetables that
Were cooked just right, roast pots were nice and crispy just as we like them! Deserts are always lovely. We are regular visitors of the Brentwood Carvery and if you have changed your chefs hang on to them they did a great job!

Nice meal, but.....car park charges, its £1 to stay for two hours, if you stay longer you have to go out and put another £1 in the machine, we were there for a special occasion, so were there for more than two hours it's a pain to have to keep looking at you watch, and fed the machine again. You do get £1 back but that is not the point. No wouldn't go back.

Would have been lovely if the chefs has stopped bickering and served custoners quicker, my parents went up first as we had coats and bags etc at out table by the time I had gone up and been served they had finished! The veg ran out and the customers waiting actually gave up! I understand this is a busy restaurant but it's not a shock as it is busy every Sunday
You need more staff behind the servery and staff who can put their differences aside whilst customers are about. One of the waitresses I spoke to whilst getting a drink had also had a run in with one of the chefs so it certainly was not my imagination
Apart from all if this the good was, as usual excellent
The star rating for service I have given was for our waitress certainly not for the embattled chefs

As ever, the staff were welcoming and Sarah impressed us greatly in co-ordinating the fresh cooked salmon with a visit to the Carvery. No time for starter or dessert but the main course was excellent. I am very impressed with the huge choice of vegetables. Great value too!

Table booked for 4pm, stood in food queue for over 1 hour!!? Ran out of gravy, couldn't eat my beef pure grossed, but I guess that's just bad luck, but queue just didn't move for about 70 minutes !!! Far too many patrons, too many people for staff to cope, having said that food was extremely good standard and waiter was very nice/good/helpful,

Easy parking. Food was great, good veggie and vegan options and the only big chain to provide a delicious vegan dessert, that isn't sorbet!!! Friendly staff, who don't pressure you, but are easy to get their attention. Great value for money and a nice atmosphere too.
