Not impressed at all except for the personal service of a lovely waitress Elena. The scones were rock hard & sandwiches were mediocre. The cakes nothing to write home about. Tea is alright nothing special. At least we are grateful that our special need request was provided.

I've been twice - both times on a wowcher. This was an incredible deal. However, there are supplements on some of the items and though these are mostly small (£3-ish) if you both add supplements to every course, the bill can be unexpectedly high! However, second time we decided to be penny-pinching and just to order from the basic menu - the food was still terrific and beautifully presented and the bill was £0.00 - tipping was left up to us. The cheapest wine was good, too. I am addicted to restaurant wowchers and this is the best I've done. Oh, and there are fine picture windows so you can watch the rich Mayfairites go by.

This was a lovely experience - the tea in the glass pot, the cake stand where everything was displayed - all lovely! As we left we were asked to pay a suppliment of £6.00 as it was a weekend. We had a pre-paid voucher and was then told it is burued in the terms and conditions - please don';t do this we weren't the only ones who were annoyed! The costs should be clearly displayed for a weekday and weekends! It took the shine off what was otherwise fab!

Having never done anything like this wife and I were very unsure of what it was going to be like. We went for my wife's birthday and our 25th wedding anniversary so it had to be a special occasion ..i booked it as,a,surprise and from entering the door to being seated..the staff were so attentive..Kempton was especially good and made us feel very welcome, having tell him this was our first afternoon tea and first ever visit to such a prestigious place..he was perfect to have as front of house. Then came the actual tea..we were seated in a very comfortable nice dining area, our waitress again being very attentive to our needs...the tea was very tasty and the sandwiches cakes and scones to such a high standard as we've never had before. I was particularly pleased with the was a perfect consistency for the fillings that we had . The cakes were perfect and the scones were lovely and still warm. So all in all it was a perfect experience for a perfect occasion and helped make the celebrations of the day go very well. Again would like to thank Hilton Green Park and the staff and Kempton..and our waitress..who so unfortunately I didn't get her name. I booked through virgin experience which was so easy and painless to do.

Very nice setting. The welcome was excellent as was the service. The food was delicious and very well presented but if you have a healthy appetite it may not be the place for you. The cheesecake dessert which you pay extra for if you are on a gift package was no more than a mouthful of cream cheese , the same of cream and a sprinkling of digestive biscuit and I felt was very poor value for money. Most things on the menu had an added charge and there was a service charge. Despite this in all it is very nice and I would recommend it as a special treat
