My party of three all agreed the food, ambience, service and overall experience was excellent. The food was well presented, hot and equally delicious. A great experience well worth repeating!

Inside a beautiful 19th-century Jacobean-style building, The Yarrow Hotel uses seasonal local produce to craft a selection of modern British and European recipes. The restaurant also boasts a solarium, which makes the perfect setting for sampling a traditional afternoon tea.

Bold, inventive takes on classic British favourites feature on the Yarrow Hotel menu. Gourmet starters include chardonnay-braised rabbit strozzapreti with parsley and slow-cooked shallot crumb, moving onto mains like pan-fried halibut, and the vegetarian risotto of Jerusalem artichoke hearts with mushrooms and confit garlic. Contemporary tasting menus are also on offer, which are frequently updated. For those after something a little less formal, the bar area has its own menu, which includes rustic baguettes and pizzas.

Traditional afternoon teas are a popular choice at The Yarrow Hotel in Broadstairs, and offer fresh scones, sandwiches, pastries and loose leaf teas. There is also a great wine selection, and selection of spirits from the bar.

A versatile setting that boasts classic British comfort and style, The Yarrow Hotel is just a short walk from local beaches, including Viking Bay. Broadstairs Rail Station is just 12 minutes' walk away.

Very enjoyable evening, good and polite service, nice ambience. Two minor points, one of our fish dishes was slightly under cooked and the Rioja wasn't the best, but considering the price of the wine with the tasting menu you can't really complain. Would recommend this place.

Although booked online for Afternoon tea, their booking system did not record this so we were booked in for lunch. Main area for afternoon tea was taken up by a large party so we were seated in the long thin
conservatory which felt a bit isolated. Then someone from the large party decided to change their baby's nappy in view of us which was off putting. Having said that the Afternoon tea was lovely and plenty of sandwiches, cakes & scones which were all fresh. Tea was topped up on a regular basis. The staff were lovely.

We ate dinner at the Hotel on the first evening and the meal was very good. Breakfast was also enjoyable. There were 5 in our party and all had a different meal. Hard to recommend one dish when all were very good

All of the food served was excellent, the only little niggle was the duck which was a bit over. My wife never orders steak, but she had the sirloin and loved it.

The Yarrow is a listed building with an interesting history that has been completely renovated inside to provide a modern hotel and restuarant. Staff are friendly and welcoming whilst being very professional. Varied range of dishes, some featuring local produce. I can recommend Sevenscore asparagus while its in season. Superb food at a reasonable price. Historic photos of chefs in training round the walls.

Freshness of bread and asparagus were greatest features. Also, work that goes into main lamb course.
