We all had a wonderful evening - the best quality food in Broadstairs and will definitely love to come again. The service was efficient but very helpful and friendly. While we realised it was a Monday night we were all a little sad that there were only three tables occupied

The food was beautifully prepared and thoughtfully presented. The pork and chorizo pie was delicious, and the raspberry soufflé was utterly gorgeous.
The decor is unusual and quite eye catching, the room was large and airy.

Lovely old building, beautifully restored with stunning decor and furnishings. Very well stocked bar with a huge selection of spirits, some nice cask ales and excellent German beer. Service excellent, friendly and by staff who clearly enjoy being there. Food outstanding...good choice, beautifully prepared and presented, and at reasonable prices. We will definitely be returning, and will recommend the Yarrow to friends and family.

I booked afternoon tea as a treat for my mum and sister in law. Service was good and The Yarrow looked beautiful. Afternoon tea was poor, and consisted of small over baked hard scones, three minuscule slices of lemon cake, three over cooked cherry tarts, the chocolate cake was the only decent part of afternoon tea. Sandwiches beautifully cut did not hide the dried out edges. The cost for this was just over £60 quid and they automatically added in a service charge. So disappointed

If these dishes are prepared by trainees...I can't wait to try dishes by the finished article. We all chose different courses and we all were extremely pleased. Service was excellent and the wines were very well chosen.

The restaurant and bar area is very nicely finished. We were welcomed as soon as we arrived in the door and shown to the bar where the barman was very courteous and took us to our table for our lunch booking. The staff in the restaurant were all really friendly and very helpful especially for my dietary requirements. The waiter consulted the chef on the foods I am unable to eat and kindly offered me a couple of options he could create for me.
My food was delicious and well presented and it was such a change to be able to have a dessert, let alone one with dairy free chocolate!
My friends were also very pleased with their choices, everything was tasty especially the rhubarb souffle and the baked cod 'scotch egg', the coq au vin well all of it really.
It was also very good value.
We didn't have any drinks, just water so could not comment on the wines etc.
We would definitely return and recommend the restaurant to anyone.

We booked to celebrate our wedding anniversary and were not disappointed. We arrived in time for a pre-meal drink which was brought to us by staff who were friendly and efficient all evening. It was good to see Gadd's No 5 available. Having ordered our starters and main courses whilst still in the bar, we were invited to move into the restaurant just prior to our starters being served. We ordered our wine, the Chenin Blanc, whilst in the bar and it was on the table when we went to the restaurant. It was chilled to just the right temperature and turned out to be a good and very reasonably priced choice. Both the broth and the salmon starters were very tasty. Our mains were the gnocchi and the pork; these were well presented and delicious. The chocolate mousse was excellent for someone with a sweet tooth and the cheeseboard provided a good range of cheeses. We rounded the meal off with cups of excellent coffee.

The combination of good food, drink and attentive waiting staff added up to an excellent evening and we will return, probably with friends or family. I chose the Yarrow because my wife was both a student and a member of staff at the Yarrow in its previous life and that added to the occasion and we were not disappointed.
