The food is not up to the standard. chips were soggy and meat has been heated up. The service is friendly.

The Yacht provides a really great environment, with views up and down the river. And they seem to have a new chef - or at least the food has improved since my last visit. Starters were beautifully presented, and the hake, as 'fish of the day', was excellent. Add a good wine-list and attentive service - and another return visit is guaranteed!

The Yacht is a very special place to relax, enjoy a fantastic meal and watch the traffic using the Thames.....Our table looked over to South Bank and the view was exceptional.
We were warmly greeted on arrival and the staff who looked after us during our meal were friendly and non-intrusive. Our meal was of a very high standard with regard to presentation, quality and quantity and a very competitive wine list to choose from.

We ate at The Yacht for Sunday Lunch with a Groupon deal. We were given a fabulous table for two and received excellent service with a smile from both the young lady who greeted us and took our coats and our waitress. The menu choice was good and we enjoyed our choices (beef and vegetarian meatloaf) very much. Would happily recommend to all our friends. Well done.

I booked this for my Mrs for an early valentines treat as she very much enjoys afternoon tea so I thought it would be different and romantic.
From when we arrived it looked like the experience wasn't going to be up to standard.
We were seated and then waiting for at least 15minutes until we asked is someone going to take our order?
The order was finally taken and we clearly said no ham and no sea food in the sandwiches however we were given a HAM sandwich. My partner was very upset about this and politely asked the waitress to take the ham sandwich. The waitress said she would be back and didn't return. It had gone 15/20mins and we'd almost finished everything else but still no one had taken the incorrect sandwich and replaced it with something we can have. We spoke to another waitress who claimed to be in charge that day (Saturday 11th Feb). She had taken the sandwich apologised for the mistake but not offered anything to replace it. You would expect that the amount I paid for it.
My Mrs then asked the waitress serving us if we are going to get anything else for the mistake and in turn was spoken to very rudely. The waitress spoke very close to my Girlfriends face and made her feel uncomfortable and patronised. The waitress simply said she knows about the mistake. We had taken this up with the head waitress who seemed more polite however not understanding the issue and simply defending her staff which I felt was poor customer service and not resolving the issue.
The food was average, the staff were rude. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone if I'm being honest. It ruined what was meant to be a romantic treat and put my Mrs in a bad mood which was not fair on her.

Lunch was excellent, good service and environment. Deserts extra but well worth it. A little bumpy if tidal!
