Built in 1851, The Woolpack Inn Beckington serves up seasonal British fare, real ales and fine wines. Relax in the cosy bar in front of the open fire and look out onto the charming courtyard garden.

Specialising in trusty, home-cooked British recipes, The Woolpack Inn menu is made up of time-honoured classics and inventive chef’s specials. The signature beef & ale pie is a creation from much-loved celebrity chef Tom Kerridge, while favourite world flavours include sizzling steak fajitas, or aubergine and roast beetroot curry. Gourmet sandwiches and jacket potatoes are served throughout the day, and guests can round things off with an indulgent crumble, cheesecake or sundae.

The drinks list at The Woolpack pub features carefully-chosen beers and international wines, and a lengthy list of soft drinks. Younger diners are not forgotten, with a varied menu for both lunch and dinner, and a mini roast served on Sundays.

The Woolpack Inn Somerset sits 15 minutes’ drive from Bath city centre.

It was an unfortunate evening as you had run out of many dishes, very disappointing. We have been before and it has always been good.
Long wait for meal, seem to have been a lot of complications.
The Baked Alaska was dire. Not to be recommended - just frozen pudding and nothing like Baked Alaska!

I had a problem booking for the time we wanted - 6 pm or 8 pm. It didn't seem too full and we were told there was a 40 minute wait for food. I think the situation was unusual but our visitors had come down from Leeds so it was a shame you had so many problems.
However I would come again and hope for a better situation.

fire was friendly and welcoming/. General appearance a bit shabby. Restaurant was closed which was disappointing. Didnt know we had to order at the bar so waited ages before ordering and nobody enlightened us. Enjoyed the meal -lamb shank very tender. Service very pleasant and did her best to ease the complaints of my friend. ( her beef was overcooked apparently!)

We have used the Woolpack as a pub lunch venue for several years so it was thought that it would be a suitable venue for a Christmas get together. The greeting was good, the table was set out exceptable and the beer was fine if not better, unfortunately the food, the most important part was a let down. Four had the Sunday roast, beef. The meat was a tiny portion but this was a blessing as it was almost impossible to chew. Another of the party had the belly pork, this was impossible to cut yet eat. The other dishes we below par for for standard of the bar food. We did point out the meals short coming to the waitress who assured us that she would pass the comments on but in hindsight we should have not paid for the meal in full. When you have a get together and some of the party have not seen one another since last year you do not want spoil the occasion by complaining but we should have done so. Your comments will be anticipated!
