Wonderful meal and service was excellent. Have wanted to dine here for many years but was never able to organise. Will definitely be back on our next visit to Edinburgh.

That was my first visit to the witchery but definitely not my last, fantastic venue, amazing setting, great service and wonderful food. What more could you ask for?

Had a beautiful meal with excellent service, only down side is its all by candle light.....which makes it more exciting but not if you have poor eyesight!

The Witchery is beautiful inside. We ate in the secret garden which is below ground. It's dark and candle lit and very romantic. However we found the menu very limited and also expensive. There is a set menu which is better value. The food was very well presented and tasty

Booking was handled very efficiently, with follow up and reminder too.
The Garden restaurant looked fantastic with lovely ambience.
The service was first class with Sergio looking after us.
The menu was also excellent, with the food we chose of the highest quality!
A lovely touch as it was my birthday was the candle in a piece of fudge!!!!
Thanks to all at the Witchery for making it a special day.
We look forward to returning again soon.

Lovely lunch for two with friend who had never been there before. Lovely ambience, attentive, informative and friendly staff. While everything was lovely, the standout dish was the venison which my friend had. She thought it beautifully soft and full of flavour and perfectly complemented, especially with the chocolate. We also thoroughly enjoyed the sharing mixed platter of deserts - more than enough for three actually -and full of yummy tastes and textures. Great experience overall.

The night was nice and the setting was quite unique, but for the amount of money spent I felt it could have been better spent elsewhere. I felt you pay for the setting and the name, as the food was nice (3.5/5), but nothing exceptional.

Lovely setting and few places open on Sunday so not a lot of choice. Expensive for average food and average service.

Lovely dining room experience and great waiting staff. Food was very salty overall though and as a result overpriced.
