Superb food, great service and very reasonable at £28 for 3 courses. The pre-starter and pre-dessert were a tasty surprise and made the meal more special. it was well worth the 40 mile trip and we will definitely be going again.

Had a lovely evening at The White Swan recently . The food was delicious and the service very good . Prices reasonable given the imaginative menu and the quality of the food . Drinks prices surprisingly reasonable . Will definitely be returning . Great to see the head chef Tom Parker on Great British Menu.

Superb meal - taste, visual appeal, value. Why this doesn't yet have a Michelin star is a mystery but we benefit by having good value, top notch food. This was our 4th visit and each time we have not been disappointed. Wine list is good and Timothy Taylor beer. I like the atmosphere of a country pub. Only thing I didn't like was the wooden (literally) menus! A bit clunky and over the top and must have cost a lot and probably a nod to their aspirations, which I am sure will come good in due course.
