Taking pride in its gorgeous, ivy-clad and whitewashed walls, The White Horse – Curdworth serves traditional British pub cuisine in an old Georgian building. In the picturesque countryside and set on the Birmingham and Fazeley Canal, it boasts premium views from its pretty beer garden. Interiorly, the pub attracts with its grand, wooden tables, warm log-fire and eye-catchingly decorated mantelpiece.
Hearty Sunday roasts and trusty British dishes head The White Horse menu, and a range just for kids offers mini versions of pub favourites. Signature Vintage pies offer fillings like beef & merlot with buttered peas, while The White Horse ‘Vintage classics’ menu includes lemon & garlic-roasted chicken with seasoned chips.
Paying homage to the Great British pub, the Vintage Inn bar stock includes cask-conditioned beers, real ales and a meticulously compiled wine list. Thirst-quenching offerings include seasonal non-alcoholic cocktails and freshly-pressed juices, and rich coffee is brewed freshly throughout the day.
In the West Midlands country village of Curdsworth, The White Horse is just 10 minutes’ drive to Sutton Coldfield.

Overall not a great experience. I have been many many times but this was the worst. The atmosphere was far too warm and humid. The young waitor thst was supposed to look after our table didn't, someone else had to step in and take our food and drinks order. We waited at least 15 minutes to even get our drink. Food was good, but after finishing our meal nobody even bothrred to ask if we would like dessert, coffee or even another drink. So disappointment from start to finish. We ended up paying our bill and going elsewhere for drinks. Oh, and how stupid and ridiculous when ordering a Martini, it has to be a double as they don't serve singles.

Very small amount of poor quality food for £10.50 for a Sunday dinner. Burnt Yorkshire puds, burnt roasts and rock hard parsnips. Not good value for money at all. Puddings were overpriced too.

Service was really slow and my well-done steak was charred. Have been tempted back to this place before after poor service and cooking but it usually ends up with a similar experience. Not enough staff on duty.

I hadn't been to the restaurant for a few years and I thought it would be a nice change for my sister who has parkinsons and who was just getting over cancer and myself to meet and catch up.
Staff were friendly but rushed, service was slow, food was nice but miniscule, except the puddings which were too big to finish off the meal. I found the menu small and expensive for the portions that you receive. It was very cheffie, triple cooked chips!!! Cook tehm once, they will taste just as good.
Where we were sitting, the table was too small for 4 people and we felt claustraphobic as we were in the middle of the dining area. There was no where to put your coats, my coat was long and got very dirty at the bottom as it was dragging on the floor. very noisy, with children. Too small a room for so many tables.
We will dine there again, maybe in the summer time so that we can sit outside.
My sister has just moved from wales to be nearer the family, so as the restaurant is halfway between where they live in whittaker heath and where we live in Sutton Coldfield, we thought it would be a good place to eat.
Overall a "nice" time but not brilliant considering the occasion.

Very nice restaurant and decoration .only a few things I noticed which were not right to me.The salt pot had dried gravy on it and the waiter that brought us our drinks to the table his black shirt had brown marks over it (maybe bleach splashes) but the waitress who took our order and mainly looked after us was smart and very professional.
