The food was delicious, we all had various burgers, they were hot, fresh and nicely presented. There wasnt much atmosphere the night we went as the restaurant part of the pub was empty, staff didnt seem particularly happy and no change was brought back once we had paid.

I booked a table at the White Hart to celebrate my Dad's 90th birthday with family and friends. The service was excellent- everyone so friendly and efficient. Also the food was excellent. A great night and great venue. Thank You for making it a lovely celebration.

Lovely atmosphere, pleasant staff and good food. Menu was rather limited though and no specials board.

A pleasant lunch, food and service both good. Slightly concerned about the party at the next table who were there when we arrived and still there when we left and seemed to have nothing during all that time!

My partner had the Wild Boar Burger & it made a nice difference to have pulled pork with a wild boar burger. My sister & myself had vegetarian options which were excellent & very creatively presented. The service at the table was very good. Sweets nice but rather pricy. Had to wait quite a long time at bar before being seen & taken to table. Overall a good experience.

The waitress was very nice, attentive and apologetic (where necessary). My daughter's meal - a terrine of some sort didn't look appealing (to me) and according to her was not very nice (covered to within an inch of its life in balsamic vinegar).

My burger was o.k, but 'rarer' than I like. Might be worth asking 'how would you like your burger done' as I didn't think about it at time of ordering. I understand there was a temporary chef on duty, so maybe that's partly down to our experience with the food.

I used to go the White Hart many years ago. Based on this one experience, the food was much better then but otherwise the pub now has a more friendly feel to it than when 'Youngs' brewery first took over. The lack of Guinness on tap is my reason for the 'drinks' rating.
