Originally a hotel, and formerly a Lord’s home, The White Hart – Beaconsfield is a traditional British country pub which serves well-loved cuisine. As indicated by its illustrious past, the building is beautiful, with white and black timber, a brick hearth and exposed rustic beams. You can also enjoy the food and views of the pub from the al fresco dining area.

Hearty Sunday roasts and trusty British dishes head The White Hart menu, and a range just for kids offers mini versions of pub favourites. Signature Vintage pies offer fillings like beef & merlot with buttered peas, while The White Hart ‘Vintage classics’ menu includes lemon & garlic-roasted chicken with seasoned chips.

Paying homage to the Great British pub, the Vintage Inn bar stock includes cask-conditioned beers, real ales and a meticulously compiled wine list. Thirst-quenching offerings include seasonal non-alcoholic cocktails and freshly-pressed juices, and rich coffee is brewed freshly throughout the day.

Based in the historic town of Beaconsfield, The White Hart is a pretty retreat for refreshment.

Pleasant warm surroundings, pleasant staff but very slow service.
We chose fish cakes as we had had them before and thoroughly enjoyed them and we were looking forward to them, however they had a new recipe and they were made out of rice, curry and spices and a little fish, for us it was disappointing. The starter of prawns and crab cocktail was good.
    Waiting staff need training.

Majority of Food was good, but service was dreadful. Two steals were ether cooked wrong or were cold.

    Probably won't go back.

We all had a lovely meal, I think it's unfortunate that staff are in short supply again as it appears it's just one person running the bar and restaurant. Surely the managers/supervisor should be able to calculate staffing issues effectly, we booked our table online as always. We feel it's penny pinching bad organisation. However we visit again hoping to see a vast improvement.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit on the occassion of my daughters birthday. The food was good quality, and hot. The service was also very attentive and friendly.
Thank you for a most enjoyable experience.
