My wife and I really enjoyed our first visit to Radisson Blu Restaurant. We were greeted by Barteck who looked after us all evening. Barteck was attentive without being intrusive. Our meals were lived up to our expectations and we had a wonderful time

Really nice restaurant, relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff. We weren't rushed into ordering and the quality of the food is superb.

Lovely decor. I booked a table for myself and daughter for 8pm on a Friday evening and was surprised that it was so quiet. I ordered a mocktail for my 8 year old daughter and a glass of white wine for myself. I wasn't asked if I wanted a large or small glass and when I received the bill I'd been charged £5.00 for the mocktail and £8.95 for the wine, ouch!
The food was nice but again expensive. Shoulder of lamb £20, sides extra.
I would stay in the hotel again but I would eat somewhere else.

good selection of food and drinks. couldn't open the teabag but staff at hand to do it for me, same with squeezing the oranges. nice choice of tomato juice - just love Lea and Perrrins so in heaven. toaster was a challenge but I mastered it, turning the bread to balance the sides. I had 2 hours to fill before the wedding, had to come early to get the wedding cake I had made into the fridge, so delighted to have a leisurely breakfast. the black pudding was especially nice, no fatty lumps and nice and spicy. I was a bit taken back at the price but it was something to do, so I took it on the chin and enjoyed myself.
was glad I had over-indulged as the wedding breakfast was much later than anticipated, and not a lot of it, although adequate, tomato soup was excellent flavour and lovely and hot, veg rather minimalist!! but the pud - strawberry tart - had been frozen so the pastry was soggy - shame. but the evening buffet was stupendous! what an amazing lot of choices of hot and cold. the sandwich-loaf was a delight to see, great presentation. the spare ribs to die for, needed a second helping, so much tasty nice food my poor chocolate wedding cake with ganache filling paled into insignificance, I wondered why I had bothered, I could have iced up a polystyrene dummy or 2 as so much was untouched. oh well. it was a gift so it was at my expense!!
your staff were very complimentary on the cake design, that was really nice of them to bother to come and tell me.
Overall a memorable day, with lots of memorable food . Thank you.

The waitress looked after us really well. We visited for my daughters birthday and we really enjoyed the food and cocktails. Sorry I don't remember the waitresses name but would like to say a big thank you for making my daughters birthday special. Will return.

Firstly,on entering the restaurant we were shocked how out dated it looked,
They had changed the menu in the restaurant but not online which the waiter had explained he had pointed this out to the manager on a few occasions! This obviously had fallen on death ears.

Could not find anything suitable in the menu at all and what was on it was expensive Kieran the irish waiter / bar supervisor was very accommodating he went out of his way to find us another venue to eat and gave us free drinks he offers to pay for a taxi to it also which we gladly took him up on as we were highly disapointed by the evening.

We got into the taxi which he said to to be told when we got over the other side of liverpool that they never agreed payment so agin another £12 spent and still no food.

They were rude on the phone when I rang concerning this matter saying that we had misheard and got into the wrong taxi which apparently knew our name before we had spoken bizzarely.

We will not use this hotel/ restaurant again and certainly will not reccomend it to any one of our freinds/ buisness colleagues.

ThankYou Keiran for trying your best to please

We had dinner booked for 8.30pm but happened to arrive early and asked if we could bring our booking forward. This was lucky as they had no knowledge of our booking and were about to shut the restaurant early! For guests of the hotel who subsequently wandered down later on during our meal, there was no such luck as the hotel had told them the restaurant would be open much later but they had shut their doors. Nonetheless, the maitre d' was charming and helpful, having asked his chef and waiting staff to stay back to feed us. He gave suggestions as to what to eat (and surprisingly also what to avoid!). The food itself was average. The squid salad was underseasoned and bland. The steak - which had been offered as "blue" when I asked how rare they would cook it - was medium at best, with lots of gristle. By way of compensation, the accompanying caramelised shallots were very nicely done. The wife's mushrooms were very nice and her prawns received no comment either way. The chocolate parfait and pistachio icecream was excellent, but a little too late to save the meal. Perhaps on a different night, the food would have been better. Certainly the ambience and decor was very nice and the serving staff were very helpful and friendly.
