A light-filled gastro pub tucked away on the outskirts of Milton Keynes, The Wavendon Arms is an idyllic, country-style establishment with a large outdoor dining space. The airy restaurant has a mix of wooden and wicker chairs, wooden floors, and log fires, making it both contemporary and homey. The large bar area, with its many leather armchairs and décor fashioned out of firewood, provides a cosy space to enjoy a drink.

With chefs given the opportunity to train at cookery schools in Spain and Italy, The Wavendon Arms menu features modern signature recipes made using the finest available ingredients. As well as creative daily-changing specials, favourites include king prawn, crab and chorizo linguine, or spit-roasted chicken with lemon & garlic confit. A kids’ menu and Sunday roasts also feature, and desserts include rich vanilla and chocolate gelato with home-baked cookies.

The result of a treasured partnership with Rothschild wine merchants, the cellar showcases many fine wines, while token real ales and premium spirits are found at The Wavendon Arms bar. Nostalgic British nibbles and eclectic sharing platters bursting with international flavours offer more laidback dining.

The Wavendon Arms in Buckinghamshire is a 2-minute drive from Woburn Sands Railway Station.

Lovely place with a real log fire, which is needed at this time of year (jan).
Staff very helpful and as i have a nut allergy the girl brought me a folder wirh all the details regarding all the dishes on the menu so i could check what i could eat, so extremely efficient.
Good choice of meals and deals and good value. The only comment is some dishes were very unusual!!
A very pleasant visit with friends.

Excellent service from when I first booked on line. On the day staff were relaxed and very friendly. It was a cold day and resturant was lovely and warm due to open fire.

Greeted as soon as we walked in, was early for our table by 30 minutes but the time we ordered a drink from the bar we were quickly shown to our table, it was a lovely Sunday lunch for 6 of us in our party and was excellent. Not rushed but waiter and waitresses kept an eye on hour every need, friendly staff couldn't ask for much more they were very busy but because of the effort and hard work by all you would not of thought it, restaurant head seem to have it running very well. Hope to return soon. Well done to the excellent staff.

It's a beautiful restaurant, it's my second time going there and both times the food has been amazing. The prawns for starter are amazing if you don't mind getting your hands dirty!
