Very pleasant ambience, very good, well-presented food. Lovely to feel outside with the glass roof, and very light.

Beautiful setting, very friendly, efficient and attentative staff. A unique menu produced well presented plates of food. My main course of steak had not been cooked to my liking, but I didn't send it back. However, when I mentioned it to the waitress, I was offered a free dessert, but chose a coffee instead, as I was replete. Then the restaurant manager came over and also expressed her concern that I had not fully enjoyed my meal and made my friend's dessert free as well as my coffee. My friend's meal throughout, she said was delicious, as was my first course. I would certainly recommend this restaurant and will go back again.

I experienced that the level of the restaurant had significantly declined. I has enjoyed afternoon tea or just some regular afternoon snacks several times at Wallace within the past years. Unfortunately the afternoon tea serving was this time clearly poorer; less different sweet bites, those were not so tasty than before (I usually do not leave sweet pastries uneaten) and even the overall look of the serving was far less tempting than before. I thought probably a new owner has brought less beautiful china/'silver' and we unfortunately even happened to have a waiter which was clearly not familiar with the elegance that often is in place with afternoon tea especially in a nice environment as Wallace Collections provide. Luckily all the rest of the personnel was very friendly and acted impeccably.

I hope you realise that I give my comments only because I like Wallace and hope you get the level back to where it used to be.

    Best regards
    Susanna E.

Soup and fish were lovely and expertly cooked although the dessert was disappointing. Service was varied

We regularly eat here and love the food and ambience. HOWEVER , yesterday was a disaster in that we had to wait 45 minutes [forty five] for our main course. THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE!. A free coffee and apologies from the waiter were not really recompense enough.
