Tasty sandwiches on the award-winning Vienna Coffee House menu range from New York pastrami to smoked salmon with cream cheese and rocket, to marinated roast chicken. There are seafood, chicken caesar and honey-roast ham salads, and a homemade soup of the day, while freshly-prepared breakfasts feature Continental pastries and croissants, as well as classic options like eggs royale and eggs benedict.

Alongside a selection of coffees incorporating authentic Austrian recipes, The Vienna Coffee House in Manchester offers traditional teas, chai teas, hot chocolates, milkshakes and smoothies. Afternoon tea is a traditional combination of scones, dainty finger sandwiches and homemade cake, served with a special pot of loose leaf tea.

A people-watching hotspot, The Vienna Coffee House faces the grand Manchester Art Gallery through gaping street-side windows.

The food was lovely and staff very friendly. The actual cafe furniture and decor needs to be updated and surroundings made more comfortable
    and special.

I visited the Vienna Coffee House with a friend for Festive Afternoon Tea. We had a lovely relaxing afternoon and the staff were very attentive, However, the food was a bit of a let down as a number of the small cakes were shop bought - small mince pies and French fancies.
A nice cafe to drop into for coffee and cake.

Wonderful service. Far too much food for an afternoon tea, but the proprietor offered a 'doggie bag' without being asked. The quality was excellent all over.

Fabulous afternoon tea with a Christmas twist. Sandwiches gorgeous and plenty. You could choose what cake you wanted from the scrumptious display, much nicer than the little random cakes you usually get on teas. Cafe very popular. Lovely little Christmas extras, mince pie, brownies and a white chocolate covered brandy snap. All the staff friendly and welcoming. We will visit again. Right by St Peter's Square tram stop. Buzzing atmosphere.

Had a great afternoon tea here. The staff were friendly and made us feel welcome. Unlimited tea or one coffee of your choice. When we arrived we were able to choose from a selection of sandwiches so had two from the veggie choice and two from the normal range. You also select a large cake each from the ones on display in addition to a brownie and a scone with clotted cream and jam. There was too much to eat even though we tried really hard so the staff explained they would make a doggy bag for left overs. A fab treat and great value for money. Would definitely go again.

Great little place just off Piccadilly as you head towards central library on Mosley Street. We were looking online for afternoon tea and wanted something different than the usual Hilton, Midlands hotel etc that we had previously experienced in the past. This did not disappoint. Portion size was astounding, and the quality exceptional. What made it lovely was that for the cakes you actually got to choose your cake choice from the cake counter which was then presented on your afternoon te tier! I had a malteser cake whilst my son had a cookies and cream cake and both were delicious. The scones were still warm and freshly baked and the choice of sandwiches were great with really good quality meats. All for 12.90 each it was an absolute bargain in the surroundings of a quiet little coffee house, not too busy with friendly staff. Definitely a place to try as they had other vast choices on the menu from breakfasts to coffees and sandwiches etc. Must try!
