Its a very rustic place with the bar to one side and the open kitchen and restaurant on the other. The food was presented well and looked very appetizing it was also very tasty. The fish of the day was Tuna which is a dry fish in itself so they had presented it with a stew of potatoes chick peas and herbs etc which complemented each other.

A couple of specials and an interesting menu. I had pickled herrings followed by tuna steak. My American guest enjoyed the hamburger . Good friendly service. Given the temperature yesterday, it wasn't too warm.

One of the few restaurants that have Sunday Roasts past 6pm, which was nice since lunch is not my favorite time to eat a big meal. Food was very good and very reasonably priced (£12,95 for roast and appetizer) Wait staff was excellent. Good selection of beers. Great experience. I'd definitely go back. Also, some of the pictures you'll see on the web make the dining room look very formal. It's not. I have no idea when they were taken.

My old biker mates wanted to meet for lunch, and were sufficiently impressed after to send me e mails complimenting the choice of venue and the quality of food. Well done, the service was perfect too. Doug.

Food fantastic and good value. Would recommend and if back in London would go again. Only slight let down was the music was a bit loud for a Sunday lunchtime.
