A refurbished pub offering al fresco dining, The Tudor Rose is a cosy retreat serving modern British dishes with European influence. Contemporary interiors mingle with nostalgic artwork and fur-lined seating in the dining room, giving it a country style pub feel.

With chefs given the opportunity to train at cookery schools in Spain and Italy, The Tudor Rose menu features modern signature recipes made using the finest available ingredients. As well as creative daily-changing specials, favourites include king prawn, crab and chorizo linguine, or spit-roasted chicken with lemon & garlic confit. A kids’ menu and Sunday roasts also feature, and desserts include rich vanilla and chocolate gelato with home-baked cookies.

The result of a treasured partnership with Rothschild wine merchants, the cellar at The Tudor Rose pub showcases many fine wines, while token real ales and premium spirits are found at the bar. British nibbles and eclectic sharing platters bursting with international flavours offer more laidback dining.

The Tudor Rose in Croydon is just a 4-minute drive from Coulsdon South station.

As usual we had a lovely meal in a lovely setting and very local to us.
Lovely waitresses, friendly and always smiling.
Have been here 3 times in the last month with different people and they have all loved it as well.

Let me start by saying the staff were lovely and the food that we eventually got was great but we were very disappointed that they didn't have any burgers, no chunky chips so we ordered two steaks instead of which we were then told they only had one left!! You would think for a Saturday night ( they don't get a food delivered until Monday, already feeling sorry for Sunday lunch bookings!) they would be a bit more prepared!

My Husband and I took our Grandson and partner here last night and we had a lovely meal everything we had was lovely, service was good and in a really lovely setting, in all would definitely reccommend the Tudor Rose for a lovely place to eat and drink.

For us, a great restaurant is about more than the food: It's about attitude, service, comfort and much more. From the moment we walked into The Tudor Rose, we felt at home. We had the sunday menu, two of us chose the Roast Trio, wow, it's delicious! which at £45 is very good value with lovely, well crafted dishes. The only remark I would make is that there are so many delicious different flavours on the plate that I would concentrate on one or two in larger quantities so we could really savour the expertise of the chef rather than small, tantalising bites of many tastes.
We splurged on a great bottle of wine, recommended by the French sommelier which did not disappoint. Staff were young, attentive, willing and polite.
A lovely lunch in a stylish, understated setting with great acoustics so that you could have a good private conversation.
We wish a long and happy life to this lovely restaurant and will be returning often.

Great ambience; shame that their services seemed to be getting downhill.
very slow service, a mistake in EVERY course we had ordered. no apologie is offered.
there seemed would benefit from training.
