Formerly the eponymous mill dating back to the 1779, The Titchfield Mill near Fareham boasts well-loved British pub cuisine in a beautiful rural building and location. On the landmark River Meon, these views and the food can be savoured from the eye-catching beer garden or by the cosy hearth-fire. With rustic trinkets, cute candles and classic brickwork, The Titchfield Mill maintains the old-world charm of the mill.

Hearty Sunday roasts and trusty British dishes head The Titchfield Mill menu, and a range just for kids offers mini versions of pub favourites. Signature Vintage pies offer fillings like beef & merlot with buttered peas, while The Titchfield Mill ‘Vintage classics’ menu includes lemon & garlic-roasted chicken with seasoned chips.

Paying homage to the Great British pub, the Vintage Inn bar stock includes cask-conditioned beers, real ales and a meticulously compiled wine list. Thirst-quenching offerings include seasonal non-alcoholic cocktails and freshly-pressed juices, and rich coffee is brewed freshly throughout the day.

In the picturesque Hampshire countryside, The Titchfield Mill is just 6 minutes’ drive from Fareham.

Lovely restaurant with lots of beams! We were seated at a corner table which was a little dark, but this was not a problem for us as it adds to the charm of the place. My favourite dish was the Belgian chocolate brownie with Irish liqueur ice cream - delicious! All food well cooked and tasty, the service was maybe a little slower than expected, but it was a busy Saturday night, and not really a problem as we were in no hurry.Would definitely return!

We came for a 'Mothers day' treat there were 6 in the party, we arrived and were seated immediately at 7pm the restaurant was extremely busy which was to be expected we waited over 20 minutes for our drinks order to be taken and a further 20 mins for our food order to be taken at which time we were informed of a delay for food due to ' too many online bookings ' the food eventually arrived and was ok not to the usual standard I have to say, our waitress was extremely stressed and was dealing with some very difficult people there seemed to be a lack of staff after our meal the waitress did apologise for the delays etc and we did have a chat with her after which the manager came over and thanked us for our understanding and for making our waitress feel much better about her evening which we thought was a nice thing to do

Great location, lovely building, slightly bland starter (shared platter), wagu burger was awesome, and great service.

We were very impressed with the food, the service and the comfort of the pub itself.
My Duck Supper was very good. It was my birthday, and the whole family enjoyed the evening. My husband had the 2 course special menu. His steak was the best he's had for ages.
Thank you for a very good evening.

booked table for 18.30 got told only pork and beef was left for roast, waitress service was very slow, needed more staff on, finally got our food at 19.40 to which my mums duck was so overcooked, my beef was like old leather, the fish was very dry and the burger was black. Ordered dessert as my mum couldn't eat hers and she was hungry well waited along time again came out and the ice cream was melted hmmm left too long on the pass I think. It was very expensive would not come back hugely disappointed.

We've been to the Mill before. The menu is very reasonably priced, the surrounding and refurbishment very pleasant. But the best feature was actually the service tendered by our waitress Chloe, who couldn't do enough for us, despite the busyness of the restaurant at rhe time we'd booked. If only all staff in every restaurant were as polite and friendly :-)

We'll be back again and again.

The actual food was excellent and the service once seated took over an hour for a booked visit to be seated, the bar staff were not as attentive as they could of been, the bar girl constantly walked passed you cleaning when seeing people were waiting for a drink, had to ask 3 times if it was possible to buy a drink each of the few times I went up there I felt it let the evening down. However the table service made up for that with excellent service the bar staff need to be more hands on rather than just standing about on computers and ignoring customers waiting to be served.
