Formerly the eponymous mill dating back to the 1779, The Titchfield Mill near Fareham boasts well-loved British pub cuisine in a beautiful rural building and location. On the landmark River Meon, these views and the food can be savoured from the eye-catching beer garden or by the cosy hearth-fire. With rustic trinkets, cute candles and classic brickwork, The Titchfield Mill maintains the old-world charm of the mill.

Hearty Sunday roasts and trusty British dishes head The Titchfield Mill menu, and a range just for kids offers mini versions of pub favourites. Signature Vintage pies offer fillings like beef & merlot with buttered peas, while The Titchfield Mill ‘Vintage classics’ menu includes lemon & garlic-roasted chicken with seasoned chips.

Paying homage to the Great British pub, the Vintage Inn bar stock includes cask-conditioned beers, real ales and a meticulously compiled wine list. Thirst-quenching offerings include seasonal non-alcoholic cocktails and freshly-pressed juices, and rich coffee is brewed freshly throughout the day.

In the picturesque Hampshire countryside, The Titchfield Mill is just 6 minutes’ drive from Fareham.

Lovely food and venue. Everyone enjoyed what they had very much. The mini puds were great and much larger than expected. A lovely evening and already planning our Christmas visit

Had a lovely evening with friends, good atmosphere not too noisy and good selection on the menu.

Service was very good, as usual, but the food was a bit disappointing. My husband's gammon was very fatty, and my pizza had cheese which hadn't been melted properly. Don't know if the chef was having an off day or what , but we probably won't be going back for a while anyway.
Would not recommend it after this experience...

We booked for just 2. We were about 20 minutes early We ordered drinks and when they were served we ordered lunch - I had fish and chips, my wife had the Special : plaice on a bed of mash and mediterranean vegetables. The restaurant was less than 1/4 full. After nearly an hour went by, I asked the waitress (who had been walking back and forth with nothing in her hands) what had happened to our food. She said she would go and find out. She immediately came back with our meals - no apology. Plaice is full of soft bones, so placing it on top of all the other items in the dish made it difficult to prevent a mouthful of bones. My fish and chips looked OK except that the batter was very greasy and I had to search for the fish inside the batter. I left a pile of batter on the plate. I did complain to the waitress when I paid the bill and she said she would mention it in the kitchen.
We left without leaving a tip, which is unusual for us. We have eaten in the Titchfield Mill many times but would be reluctant to return. We also frequent the Fishers Pond 2 miles from home with no problems.

Lovely quiet midweek Anniversary meal. Diners are seated in various smaller rooms which creates a more intimate dining experience.
Really good choice of menu in all courses (although it seems they have stopped their amazing pork cracking with gooseberry chutney).
