Formerly the eponymous mill dating back to the 1779, The Titchfield Mill near Fareham boasts well-loved British pub cuisine in a beautiful rural building and location. On the landmark River Meon, these views and the food can be savoured from the eye-catching beer garden or by the cosy hearth-fire. With rustic trinkets, cute candles and classic brickwork, The Titchfield Mill maintains the old-world charm of the mill.

Hearty Sunday roasts and trusty British dishes head The Titchfield Mill menu, and a range just for kids offers mini versions of pub favourites. Signature Vintage pies offer fillings like beef & merlot with buttered peas, while The Titchfield Mill ‘Vintage classics’ menu includes lemon & garlic-roasted chicken with seasoned chips.

Paying homage to the Great British pub, the Vintage Inn bar stock includes cask-conditioned beers, real ales and a meticulously compiled wine list. Thirst-quenching offerings include seasonal non-alcoholic cocktails and freshly-pressed juices, and rich coffee is brewed freshly throughout the day.

In the picturesque Hampshire countryside, The Titchfield Mill is just 6 minutes’ drive from Fareham.

Service was terrible as the food took ages. The quality of the food was mediocre at best.

Having ordered a Italian themed meal I was disappointed that on request for some Parmesan cheese to compliment the dish I was politely informed by the waitress that none was available. Also the pastry covering the beef Wellington was not as described as the menu. Short crust pastry substituted the puff pastry. Spoils the dish. Otherwise the total meal overall was good as was the service. I class these as observations as I didn't bring it to the manager notice at the time. Both were from the Father's Day menu.

Very dissatisfied with the meals. Very expensive for what we got. I had the large beetroot and feta salad and I had 3 squares of feta. Salad was very small. My sons burger was wrong and he waited 10 mins for another one, although they did give another starter for free, that was the only up side of our visit. We will not be returning in a hurry.

Lovely restaurant with lots of beams! We were seated at a corner table which was a little dark, but this was not a problem for us as it adds to the charm of the place. My favourite dish was the Belgian chocolate brownie with Irish liqueur ice cream - delicious! All food well cooked and tasty, the service was maybe a little slower than expected, but it was a busy Saturday night, and not really a problem as we were in no hurry.Would definitely return!

We came for a 'Mothers day' treat there were 6 in the party, we arrived and were seated immediately at 7pm the restaurant was extremely busy which was to be expected we waited over 20 minutes for our drinks order to be taken and a further 20 mins for our food order to be taken at which time we were informed of a delay for food due to ' too many online bookings ' the food eventually arrived and was ok not to the usual standard I have to say, our waitress was extremely stressed and was dealing with some very difficult people there seemed to be a lack of staff after our meal the waitress did apologise for the delays etc and we did have a chat with her after which the manager came over and thanked us for our understanding and for making our waitress feel much better about her evening which we thought was a nice thing to do

Great location, lovely building, slightly bland starter (shared platter), wagu burger was awesome, and great service.

We were very impressed with the food, the service and the comfort of the pub itself.
My Duck Supper was very good. It was my birthday, and the whole family enjoyed the evening. My husband had the 2 course special menu. His steak was the best he's had for ages.
Thank you for a very good evening.

booked table for 18.30 got told only pork and beef was left for roast, waitress service was very slow, needed more staff on, finally got our food at 19.40 to which my mums duck was so overcooked, my beef was like old leather, the fish was very dry and the burger was black. Ordered dessert as my mum couldn't eat hers and she was hungry well waited along time again came out and the ice cream was melted hmmm left too long on the pass I think. It was very expensive would not come back hugely disappointed.
