everything from the service to the plates of spectacular food was faultless. After 3 hours of Christmas songs though we did think we had earned the right to something else!

Winner of 2 AA Rosettes and an AA Notable Wine List award, The Three Gables sits inside a stunning 17th-century Grade II-listed rubble stone building, and offers diners a wonderful ambience to go with the inventive modern menu.

Beautifully presented, the Three Gables menu is filled with eclectic European flavours with Mediterranean influences. Cornish haddock ravioli with creamed Jerusalem artichoke is light and delicate, while poached guinea fowl is served with 32-months aged parmesan and rosemary risotto, and crispy oyster mushrooms. Regional produce is also championed at the Three Gables Bath, as seen with the fillet of Lackham beef with glazed carrot and potato fondant.

To finish, traditional British desserts like rhubarb crumble with port syrup and rice pudding ice cream are served, as well as European treats such as almond chocolate fondant with amarena cherry. The award-winning Three Gables wine list boasts superb bottles from across the globe, with wine producers holding events at the restaurant throughout the year.

A wonderfully intimate restaurant steeped in history, The Three Gables is a 2-minute walk from Bradford-on-Avon Rail Station.

I've been to this restaurant for lunch a few times and thought it would be good to take my family for dinner. The food was really lovely but there was no atmosphere. The restaurant was very brightly lite and for the Saturday before Christmas, very quite. By the time we finished our meal we were the only people left. The service was very efficient but not particularly warm.

A great experience, for a special meal with our son and daughter-in-law, before the birth of our first grandchild in the New Year.
    Marvellous cuisine in charming surroundings.

Just misses being good, choice of menu not great, some dishes were not hot,one person serving was brusque and almost rude. At least this time the restaurant was warm. It's a shame as the presentation of the food is good, but even the coffee was Luke warm.

Delightful restaurant in the heart of Bradford on Avon opposite the bridge. Excellent upstairs dining and superb food and service. A faultless luncheon experience with very tasty, carefully cooked food and fabulous wines. Not our our first experience of this restaurant and team and soon to be repeated. We've promised ourselves that we will be regulars here as it is just so unmissable. Well done.

Our first visit for Sunday Lunch in this comfortable restaurant with views to the River and the beautiful architecture of Bradford on Avon. We started with Leek and Potato soup with truffle oil followed by the beef and usual trimmings. Beef was tasty and cooked medium rare, lots of different vegetable dishes and very tasty roasties. Very substantial and tasty. Good wine list to choose from.
