We ate breakfast here before a friend's flight as she jetted off round the world. The full English was fantastic! Our waiter was great too - really made a fuss of the girl leaving and made us laugh a lot.

Above the Virgin check-in at Heathrow Terminal 3, The Three Bells is quirky, colourful and serves up everything from an all-day breakfast to a homely dessert. Chequerboard flooring, comfy Chesterfield sofas and dishevelled bookcases add character to its appealing dining spaces.

An ideal stop-off for a pre-flight snack, the Three Bells menu offers rustic ploughman’s boards, goat’s cheese soufflé and a range of sandwiches, toasties and baps. There are plenty of sides to add, and a selection of salads including classic Caesar and smoked salmon.

If you have more time, there’s rib-eye steak, chargrilled burgers and chicken and sweet pepper curry, plus braised lamb shank and cod and chips. A vegetarian breakfast is also available, and a changing selection of daily specials.

A Geronimo pub, The Three Bells stocks their tasty Cornish cheese, with cheesecake, apple crumble and chocolate pudding for dessert. Draught beers and cocktails accompany a well-chosen wine list at The Three Bells in Heathrow Airport.
