Previously the residence of an ambassador and a private members club, The Thames Court near Shepperton still boasts a grand, countryside location to enjoy the traditional British pub cuisine. Hand-painted Delft tiling, oak panelling and eye-catching fireplaces decorate the sleek interior, and the exterior is a work of art, with pretty gardens and seating, and black timber and brickwork.
Hearty Sunday roasts and trusty British dishes head The Thames Court menu, and a range just for kids offers mini versions of pub favourites. Signature Vintage pies offer fillings like beef & merlot with buttered peas, while The Thames Court ‘Vintage classics’ menu includes lemon & garlic-roasted chicken with seasoned chips.
Paying homage to the Great British pub, the Vintage Inn bar stock includes cask-conditioned beers, real ales and a meticulously compiled wine list. Thirst-quenching offerings include seasonal non-alcoholic cocktails and freshly-pressed juices, and rich coffee is brewed freshly throughout the day.
Adjacent to the River Thames, The Thames Court is a beautiful country pub, near to Shepperton and in Surrey.

I always enjoy coming to Thames Court especially on a warm day - sitting outside watching the boats go by.
We went on a Sunday and I tried the roast turkey, it was nice. Service was ok - some orders got messed up.
Overall experience good.

We have visited the Thames Manor on numerous occasions and have always been impressed with the food and service. However, on this occasion we were extremely disappointed. Our table was booked for 12.30. Our starter arrived about 40 minutes later. At ten past two our main meals arrived, cold. In fairness to the manager, he didnt charge us for the main courses (which we left). Many people were complaining and sending their meals back. Our poor waitress wanted to cry!! very very disappointed as travelled from Horley expecting the same standards as in the past. Would always have recommended the Thames Manor but after this experience would find it hard to do so. May try again

We usually love coming to The Thames Court and do so regularly as a family (of four). Sadly though, the waiting staff were overwhelmed on Mothers Day with overbookings or chefs that didn't turn up. The food is lovely usually and it didn't disappoint. That said, our 16:00 booking meant we didn't leave until after 19:30, with irate children hungry for their dessert. Dessert didn't come for over an hour.
We had booked this table a week and a half prior so the management would have known they had a full house so should have staffed accordingly. Also, it was a very sunny weekend and more people arrived ad-hoc.
We were not disappointed with the food but were with the ability of The Thames Court to staff on challenging days like this. When we called up to book, we were told that the Restaurant was fully booked and were surprised at being able to book using the bookatable site. Were they possibly greedy and took too many bookings?
By the end of the day and a constant stream of Mothers' Day meals, the staff were visibly 'over customer complaints' about delays over desserts and meals not coming.
Keep up the good food but work out the booking mechanisms and manage staff numbers so meals can be delivered to tables within an acceptable timeframe.

Good atmosphere and excellent service. Disappointed with beef Wellington as meat very tough. Paid £6 extra for this, so very expensive. Shame as rest of food ok. Did tell waitress but no feedback.
