High ceiling impressive vaulted glass roof - leads to a chill in the air and ltd atmosphere staff lovely food delicious but overall lacked ambience ...although we made our own and they very kindly prepared a special beautiful plate for anniversary.....did nt feel world class more pricey cost for average standard food....service slow to start

Beautifully presented restaurant and good sized bar area for pre-dinner drinks. Loved the vibrant colour scheme and the lpretty glass roofed terrace. We took up a special offer set menu with complementary glass of prosecco. Everything was just right - food lovely, well presented and good portion sizes - good enough for me not to have room for a dessert! Wine prices were moderate for a Central London hotel and the bar cocktails very good. All in all, if you are near Picadilly Circus or exhausted after drooling over the chocolates in Fortnum and Masons, do try this relaxing bar and restaurant on the second floor of the hotel.

Overal service was fine and food was good. Staff were fine. However i felt abit uncomfortable with the waiter staring at me and my friend alot of the time. Slightly off putting.

Lovely venue. Relaxed atmosphere, great service and delicious food. We were not rushed and I would go back. Try and get a window seat if you can.

Excellent food, good sized portions. Great spice. Drinks were reasonable for a hotel, only bottled beers.

The food was ok but the restaurant really lacked atmosphere. The drinks were very expensive.

Disappointed after several very enjoyable visit previously. The lamb cutlets in one main course were very fatty and the fish pie in another contained fish skin and a prawn tail. We saw the fish pie being carried around the room in search of its correct table and therefore wasn't as hot as it should have been. The chips at £4 were poor value and not well cooked. Service was on the slow side. The waiter laid a dessert spoon and we then had to ask for the pudding menu. We were more than half way through our pudding when the waiter brought us dessert forks. The wines were a tad expensive and the 'background' music too loud and completely unnecessary.
